Can you imagine they did this big plot so we see at the end that Ruby never was on his side. How many times Dean tell him that he can't trust a demon, and Sam just ran into it. Since season 3, we saw Ruby appeared from nowhere, she said she wanted to be good but come on, can you believe a demon ? And during those two seasons we see her trying to get Sam's trust, helping him through everything and she's right at the end, she was the best because she finally break their family trust, Sam choose her and she did all of that by manipulating Sam but not completely. She was cleaver, she gave him the options and he choose. Sam should of try to understand why she was always following him. He's a hunter. He can't blame it all on Dean's death or Lilith, he did do those choices, even if he couldn't see the bigger picture. I feel sad for him, Lilith was right he turned himself into something he don't even recognize just to kill her because ultimately beside the obsession and the addiction he was trying to get something good out of it. I don't blame them, I don't blame Sam because he was fighting for something that wasn't real, they lied to him. It's gonna be difficult next season, their relationship has been impacted, Dean doesn't trust him anymore, how could he? I'm sure Sam doesn't trust himself too, so it's interesting to see you react to what's coming for both of them. Plus, Lucifer is out, it's gonna be a hell of a road.

J2 often discuss those final scenes as both Jared & Jensen worry how to explain to their kids why they killed Mommy/Aunt Gen...awkward😄whenever their kids are old enough to watch SPN, personally I think they will be more embarrassed by the sex scenes from earlier in the season😂. On the whole I love Season 4, so much angst, the brothers butting heads, Angels swooping in and trying to figure are they good or are they bad, or as Dean says or are they just Dicks! But ultimately brotherly love wins through, but they’ve got a mess to clean up.

2019-08-25 08:07:07 +0000 UTCThis episode sets up next season and when I first watched it I was so excited to watch s5, which is one of the best seasons btw. In my opinion, can’t wait to see what you think. S4 really brought supernatural to a whole new level which the angels & Lucifer rising. I’m a Sam girl but this season was a hard season for Sam, and most people hated him this season. Obviously he could’ve choose better choices but he was also being manipulated this whole time by ruby.. When you think about it people have been manipulating Sam his whole life. With yellow eyes giving him demon blood when he was a baby & Lilith breaking seals and ruby helping him take this dark path it was all so Lucifer could be freed. It’s crazy to think about lol. I’m not condoning sams actions but he did think he was doing the right thing & I feel so bad for dean he feels so helpless when it comes to Sam this season he just wants his brother to make the right choices and to be by his side. It was a rough season for Sam and Dean.

But just to clarify one point...the angels want the final battle of Armageddon to take place. This is what Zach was talking about. It's the great master plan God left them before he went out for beer and smokes centuries ago and never came back. They are sure they will win and establish forced paradise on Earth. The cost in human lives means nothing to them. Leaving Lucifer in the cage is just prolonging the inevitable. Cas and Zach were essentially making that argument before Cas rebelled.

2019-08-24 22:15:12 +0000 UTCWorth the wait. I really agree with your comments at the end too. I know a lot of people have a problem with Sam, but come on. With Heaven and Hell both individually conspiring against you, what chance did he actually have.
