the razor-blade scene omg.

Comments

What Dean went through in Hell is part of the Season 4 story arc, just keep on watching and you will find out sooner or later. I loved this video, and your content, Nicole. Keep up the good work. Later.

And Sam being so excited to meet angels as the believer from the very beginning, only to be met with stone walls and mild condemnation. Ah, man. That must have hurt. I love this season.

"I don't envy the weight on your shoulders." We hear this exact quote again in the future. Ah man.

I really liked this episode & I’m glad you are already liking Castiel, when I first watched season four he was such an interesting new character on the show and I was excited to see where he went. Seeing Sam struggle with his powers always makes me so sad, he didt have a choice when it comes to having the powers and he struggles so much with using them and how that affects who he is. Seeing Sams face when he first met Cas will always be my favorite thing lol, he was so flustered lol. can’t wait for you to get more into this season.

Some of the concepts that Supernatural handles so well are destiny and doubt and free will. That final conversation between Dean and Castiel really underlines that. Tough choices ahead for everyone.

The best moment in this episode was hands down... the moment in the end between Castiel and Dean. This conversation between them made me love Castiel so much more than I already did. I love that even an angel can be confused about what's right and wrong. It's clear that Cas more than anything wants to protect, not only Dean and Sam, but also as many human beings and creatures on Earth that he can, but there are other angels out there like Uriel who are prepared and even happy to smite the world in order to stop Lucifer and Hell from rising. As for the rest of the episode... it was just okay for me. I didn't really care much for the main storyline with the teacher and the witch working with him to raise Samuel Haine. And I hate that the more Sam uses his powers, the more he grows further apart from Dean. I know Sam didn't really have a choice in this situation and that he only means well, but it's still not good. I did however love that Sam was able to meet Castiel for the first time in this episode. I'm just sad that he and Uriel made Sam doubt even more that angels and God are what he hoped were, as beings there for the good of all. Thank you again! Until next time...

Fun fact... the girl that played Jenny (she died bobbing for apples) is Emori from the 100 :)

Same, Brenda. Sam was so excited to meet Cass - like a kid on Christmas morning. Then the downward spiral began with each word Cass and Uriel spoke - until we ended up with Dean's pep talk in Baby. Sam's posture, demeanor and especially his facial expression while Dean is talking to him about "a few rotten apples"...? It crushes me every time. J2 killed it during that scene. And also the entire episode if I'm being honest.

I see what you did there...lol.

I love this episode for so many reasons. I love Dean's interaction with the angels, he's so fearless talking to them. I love how he tries to reassure Sam about his faith. Sammy had no choice but to use his powers and it was scary the way Uriel threatened him. This is easily my favorite season.

Okay, I know Uriel (the second angel) is a douche, but I mean come on..."mud-monkeys" hilarious 😂. I can appreciate characters for what they are, and although he's opposing the boys, I kinda like him, and remember just because a character has a differing opinion from the boys doesn't mean they're necessarily bad...anyway for some weird reason "It's the great Pumpkin" has always been my all time favorite Supernatural episode. I don't necessarily think that holds true any longer, but it's still one of my favs😁. Also, I have been waiting until this episode to tell you this because I wasn't sure if it was a spoiler, because I assumed it was easy to guess, but as far as you're thoughts on Dean remembering hell..it's the latter. Anyway I'm excited to see your reaction to the next episode. I know you'll love it...or maybe that's just wishful thinking!!😉
