This is actually one of my favorite episodes of the early seasons :p I was so worried you weren't going to like it. But it's just awesome topping it of with fucking Renegade at the end, just perfect. I actually cried when Ron died the first time I watched it XD

2020-02-10 04:07:11 +0000 UTCI'm so glad you loved Nightshifter - it really is a 10/10. The writer of this was Ben Edlund and he is a mad genius. Almost every episode he has written is a standout. The man truly is a rock star. To this day Jared and Jensen will site the music drop at the end as one of their favs of the entire series (it certainly is mine). Adding being hunted by the FBI adds a whole new layer of tension and drama to the show. Getting caught now would mean a whole new world of shit coming down on them. I think Supernatural does a great mix of MOTW interspersed with the main story arc each season. Can't wait to continue following you on the journey. XXOO

2019-01-14 01:38:29 +0000 UTCI forgot to add something - one bit of info about ghosts - they can put a sort of lock down on a place so people can't leave or enter. That's why Sam had such a hard time breaking the glass to get into the pool house. They can make it so the boys wouldn't be able to even bust down a door or break the flimsiest seeming glass.

2019-01-11 09:22:35 +0000 UTCThis is one of my favorite Supernatural episodes of all time! It's a classic, especially that ending with Renegade playing as they drive off wearing the SWAT uniforms. I'm really glad that you loved it, too. Although I enjoy most episodes of this show, there are a few that really stand out for every season, and IMO, this is definitely one of those for Season 2. I can't wait for you to get more into the seasons. Especially the first 5. :)

2019-01-11 03:14:24 +0000 UTCYay! You're already half way through this season! I have been looking forward to this one. It's one of my favorites. I'm pretty sure a lot of fans like this one. This episode was written and directed really well. The pace was good and it was organized. Everything worked really well together. Editing was good too. There are times when one or more of those elements isn't as good as it could be. I also liked the introduction of the FBI into the mess with the boys' growing criminal records. They need to be more careful! Poor Ronald! I really liked him. Was really sad that he died. He probably would have wanted to get into hunting monsters after this. He probably wouldn't have made a good hunter, but it would have been fun watching him try! LOL I think the actor did a really good job too. The other actors in this episode also put out good performances. This show gets better each season with having plot driven episodes for most of the season. But this season it can be all over the place with the type of episode. I think they show's creators were having fun and stretching their wings. Covering a lot of variety. And I like most of them. There are a few that are pretty awesome. I hope you like them too. Some episodes are just fan favorites on their own, so we'll be excited for you to react to them for that reason, and not because of a lot of plot stuff. Episode 12 was a mix. And independent story, but with main story elements. Dean seems to have calmed down, but now we see signs that Sam is feeling stressed.
