I agree with you. I like Jo as well! :) Also agreed with liking that this episode was based on a real person. I think they do this for quite a few episodes. I was re-watching one the other day where the same kind of set up happened - being based on a real life person. Makes it interesting!! Always happy with the writing on this show.

She's feisty enough to give Dean the sass he needs. It is really nice to get other characters with the boys. I agree with you on that. Not every fan thinks that way. Some are purists and think it should be mainly just Sam and Dean. But not most. I think you're going to have to up your ratings limit beyond 10. This season has a lot of really good episodes in my opinion. Except maybe the next one. It's okay, there is definitely some good stuff in it. But overall, this season has many more hits than misses. In my opinion, Dean was hesitant to work with her because it's dangerous. He knows how dangerous hunting is and he doesn't want to be a part of getting someone into that life. Especially someone he likes and cares about. I don't know if his feelings go beyond friendship with Jo, but I think he does care about her. At least that much. And he does feel that she has options, and even though she wants to be a hunter, he wouldn't want to see her become one, because it's very dangerous with a high likelyhood she'd get killed. But, by the end of this episode, he was at least supportive of her with her mom. She earned his respect by then. As a Hunter. I think. It was nice to see Sam so supportive of both of them during this episode. The scene at the beginning was funny. They'd obviously spent the night at the Road House - it must have been the morning after Ellen had the talk with them at the end of the previous episode. Too bad about the John thing. That dude is just not coming out looking too good in all of this. And so now the boys have that information to add to everything else, while they're still dealing with his death. They see John as this amazing, respected Hunter it seems. And now seems like a wedge is going to be between Jo and them. That's too bad. But she didn't seen like she'd stay pissed for long. She at least talked to Dean and seemed like there was still an opening. We hope. Anyway. Good episode. I don't know if everyone likes it. But I do. Some fans get very pissy whenever there's a girl in either brothers' lives. Very pissy. To the point that the actresses get hate mail. Sheesh. But most fans are fine with it. Always some wackadoo's. lol
