I enjoyed this reaction so, so very much. Your disappointment, disbelief and straight up anger at the end was so real I could feel it through the screen. It's a reaction video after all... and this was a great reaction. I hope our enjoyment is seen as a positive thing. I remember seeing how surprised and extremely excited you were when Jeffrey Dean Morgan popped up in the Pilot episode. I knew right then you were in for a rough ride. Add that to the excitement and hope you had for Sam and Dean finally getting their dad back... Episode after episode wondering is he going to be in this one?, is he going to be in this one? And you get a powerful and very real reaction. I agree with everyone saying how hard it was waiting to see if there even was a season 2. I was lucky enough that when I started season 1 season 2 was either out or just about to be. But I remember all too well having to wait for all the other seasons. I'm both very happy and a little sad that people now can just binge the whole series. A very big part of the reason many of us love this show so strongly is the 15 year journey we had with it. And are still having with the new conventions and reactions. Someone that binges it in a few weeks or months can't possibly have the same experience IMO. I'm happy to see that you at least get to have multiple years with it. Even though I'm once again having to wait episode to episode all over again lol.

2022-10-20 17:06:14 +0000 UTCThis episode was not really active, but a lot happened. It's really sad to see John die at the end. After everything they'd gone through. All that work to find the thing that killed Mary, only to end up making a deal with it! And I agree with you about how much a waste it was - They let the demon go at that shack because they didn't want to kill John, but he ends up dying anyway. Frustrating. I don't really remember how I hopeful I was for John to join the boys in fighting for season 2. I was probably like you, hoping they'd finally get together. I know that I just couldn't believe that John couldn't come up with another option other than that stupid deal. Nothing? That's something that's bothered me. And now when Dean and Sam learn about the deal, they'll have to live with knowing that their dad gave his life to the thing that killed their mom. To save Dean's life. And now Dean has been saved twice, at the cost of someone else. That's not going to be something he can just get over, I bet. Not knowing him. I miss those somewhat innocent boys from Season 1 already. This is shaping up to be a darker season already. Side note - in the DVD's there is a commentary track for this episode. They're almost always fun and interesting to listen to.

Putting that aside, I see that you didn't do a reaction for the gag reel for season 1 (not complaining I swear), but did you at least watch it? Its truly entertaining and completely worth it to see the evolution of humour amongst the cast and crew over the years.
