Poor Alec, thank goodness he had Magnus. I love seeing Clary and Alec work together, would love their friendship to develop in later episodes. Good acting from Kat and the funeral was heartbreaking. Love the shadowhunter ceremonies though and that they wear white to funerals, beautiful sad scene.

2019-02-04 17:38:56 +0000 UTCI forgot they wore white to the funeral, it always bugged me they wore white to the wedding, in the books they have this whole color system for rituals, black is for battle, white is for funerals, red is for weddings. Matthew Daddario was amazing in this episode. as was Katherine McNamara who has sometimes (to me) been a bit cringe in her acting... she's so much better this season. but I think the writing is better which probably helped.
