Japanese Beauty: Kashino ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต

Historically, Kashino was a unique Japanese ammunition transport ship, built in 1940 for the Imperial Japanese Navy. When I say "ammunition transport," I do mean very specialized. Her entire reason for existing was to carry the massive 46 cm (18.1 inch) shells for the Yamato-class battleships.

Fun fact?

She was literally designed around her cargo. Kashino had huge, reinforced holds and specialized cranes to lift those 1.5-ton shells, plus extra stability so she wouldn't capsize hauling that much concentrated weight. So yes, those massive mounds on her chest do make sense. At first, she was also meant to carry Yamato's gun turrets during construction, but once that job was done, she was refitted to carry general ammunition for the fleet.

Unfortunately, her career was short. On 4 September 1942, she was torpedoed by the U.S. submarine USS Growler and sank, taking over 100 crew and her cargo to the bottom.

Also, a high-yield dairy cow can produce over 7 gallons (25+ liters) of milk per dayโ€”so do what you wish with that information if you have Kashino in your base ( อก~ อœส– อกยฐ)

Her spine must be made of titanium or something.
