Clary helps him to see there's more to life than just hunting demons. Simon is always sick with something...a hypercondriac. As far as Clary knows he is safe and sound at home, and she wants to find her mother. It is sad what Simon went through,,,,but Clary couldn't have known. Hold those 10 spots....season 1 is nothing compared to the others. After episode 12. I bet you start binge watching like everyone else.....lol
