SKAM Season 4 Episode 9 UN-CUT REACTION!

this made me think... if the characters represented an overall theme, what would they be? Vilde is hope for instance.

Jessica Irene Conifer

seriously though, that's why I'm watching... chasing that high

This is my thoughts and conclusion of s4: Sana is a true and loyal friend who always have her friends back, she helps them and pushes them in the right direction. But when it came to trusting them to be there for her when she needed she came short, due to her past as being bullied. She never let them see what she felt deep down. She only had Jamila who helped her with the bullies, but wasn't supportive of Sana's choice of friends at her new school. But at the end here she finally opens up and tells the girls everything and they support her choices and will be there. Oh, my girls! Love them so much. I want to come back 5 years later to see where they are in life and stuff. ❤

it was!! i know right! they were gonna film something when the swan randomly came up, and cengiz (yousef) really didnt see it so that was his genuine reaction. so in that little part we actually saw iman and cengiz instead of sana and yousef. :)

wow i love how you explained this, with sana being the plug for everything of the show. i never saw it like that. she's my favorite character and iman truly is an amazing person and actress, especially for someone with no experience at all, who was just found on instagram by julie.

that was real?! thats amazing

omg im crying

I never felt bad for Sana because she was soooo prominent in all seasons. In season one, she essentially brought the girl squad together. (Noora wasn't even going to join the bus till Sana was in), and Sana took over the bus at their first meeting. And then in season two, it was Sana who had the big talk with Noora that pushed Noora closer to William. And in season three, Sana had the great talk with Isak about religion and fear. And then of course it's Sana who brings Willam back from London in her own season. To me, Sana is the central part of the show. She's the catalyst and spark plug for everything in the show. If she is overlooked---and I know some people think she is---that's the fault of the viewers, not the fault of Julie, because Julie certainly gave her plenty of big moments. And the actress, Iman, is just incredible. We get EVERYTHING from her---from tough girl, to wise advisor, to sad and broken, to humor...she plays such a range throughout the show, and she nailed all of it!

I totalt agree with you! I feel she takes the focuse away from Sana to much. And a lot of people only hear what Noora says when she is om the screen and I think that is sad. But what I get a lot out of is to mirroring what Noora says over to Sanas life in the situation. I feel this happend å lot in Isak season too. F.ex when Noora talking to Eva om the phone at night... Isak is not mad because her talking. It is because it hurts him that he have this sad feelings too. She is mirroring him. But with Noora and Sana it is maybe more that Sana feels that she can't have what Noora have....Noora is sort of her opposites in Sanas eyes for a periode there. My favorite friendship is Isak and Sana!❤ They really see each other and have each others back!❤🤩

Sana did not write the season with J but She har a lot if input to the character together with many other Muslims girl.

that swan scene wasnt scripted by the way. how cute <3333

i loved season 4 so much but i still feel like they focused on noora and william a little too much. i know the creator of the show wanted to write noora and williams story and that turned into skam, and i know they had to get some things clear because it was the end of the show but i mean this was sana's season and there was still so much focus on noora and william

So, right after their date (it’s like 1 am), Sana messages Yousef and thanks him for the date and wishes him a good summer. He tells her that he has to wake up early but can’t sleep because he keeps thinking about Sana getting together w Stephen Curry. He asks her to please promise that she won’t date get with (Curry) while he’s away, and she promises she won’t. The cutest little exchange that pretty much settles that she’ll wait for Yousef and that Yousef will wait for her as well.

If you are deeply religious, it is not so much about what your "religion" says, but what God says and as such is not a choice. What you can do is open up to other interpretations of what God's way is, which is a direction that Sana seems to be moving in. Her family appears very traditional while she seems to be developing a more modernist stance. I actually really liked the conversation between Sana and her mom. I didn't feel like her mom was trying to tell her what to do, or right or wrong. She was arguing that a marriage is about more than love and how if religion is important to you, it can be difficult to be with someone who doesn't get it. Your partner might be totally supportive and understanding, but because they are not religious themselves, they might not be able to remind you why YOU are in times of doubt. I loved the scene between Yousef and Sana at their because of the call back to their first conversation about faith. She used it as an example of why she believed in God - because stuff like that could not be a coincidence. Now in this episode, Yousef uses it to remind Sana why she believes in God. He thus shows Sana that he understands her faith and can help remind her why she believes in God in times of doubt. This was her mother's concern in terms of her marrying a non-muslim and what gave Sana pause. Looking forward to your reaction to the finale.

I like it when you pause and talk a little. I wish more reactors did that. It's better than talking over the dialogue, and thereby missing stuff. And sometimes when reactors wait to the end to do all their talking, they forget stuff. So I like a couple of quick pauses as the show is going on. :)

When you're done maybe u can react to the whole show w a friend who hasn't seen it, haha

hey dont worry about it! its amazing enough that you even uploaded all the episodes with subs

I've fixed it and will upload it for future viewers, but here's what the messages said: Yousef: Of course I want to hang out with you! What about Friday? I leave Saturday. Sana: Oh, you leaving this Saturday? I can't this week. Hope you have a great summer. Chris: Yo girls, what about taking the van out for a test drive on Friday? I know it's not russ 2018 yet, but a little trip has to be allowed? Vilde: YEEES!!

My ears are burning with shame for missing to subtitle the text message conversation after Sana talked to her mom. :-/
