And a day later Even sent the text saying he thought they’d moved too fast and that he needed time. So, he was removing himself from Isak. Because of that. The scene in the locker room is so cleverly constructed because we don’t pick up on Even’s reaction the first time. We only see it through Isak’s eyes - the relief and the infatuation, and the talk of dating.

It's an ancient northern hemisphere spring festival with lots of dancing, singing, drinking and cakes. Back in the 19th century, May Day was also chosen as the date for International Workers' Day. So it's kinda like a cross between Spring Break and Labor Day in America. I mean, not really, but kinda...LOL

I remember thinking in the week leading up to that clip that, this is the NRK, whose mission statement is to entertain, inform and educate, and this is a show for 16 year olds - and they just can’t kill off the gay guy with mental issues. Please don’t have him commit suicide! And then when Isak didn’t react to even’s text, I was shouting at my TV 😭
