I love this episode so much. Emma being horrible, his boys being awkward but overall supportive when he comes out, the fact that immediately after coming out his locker opens easily, and he's not alone anymore... he gets to talk about how he's feeling he gets to talk about boys how his friends talk about girls, he gets to ask their advice, and they give him great advice that is one of my favorite scenes in the whole series... and then Even showing up and every time he enters a scene its like his whole purpose for existing is to just stand there looking pretty. LOL then that whole making out knocking his hat off thing which was so sweet and exciting and scary and wonderful. This episode is one of my favorites of the whole show.

Can we all appreciate how well-written this scene is? Julie uses all her tools (the guys) to reflect how 17yrs old gyus are NOT a homogenous group. From the very cautious but supporting comment from Mahdi(17yrs),to the naive and somewhat ecpected silly but not mean question from Magnus (17yrs) to the great advice from Jonas (17yrs).It shows the insecurities they all have in a great way.And ofc:in the middle of it all,a scarerd&infatuated sweet little boy who wants to add a smiley to any messeges to his hubbatobe haha

The word for "locker" in norwegian is "skap", and that is the same word as used for "closet". So the problems with his locker have been a running metaphor for him coming out of the closet =)

The scene where Isak comes out to Jonas was huge in Norway, it got a lot of media coverage and how important it was to show people how to react to someone coming out, and it felt so good and for it to be done with that kind of respect. Then this episode happened and everyone praised and talked about how they handled the friendship and support in the boy squad, how casual it was and supportive like nothing will change, it's so rare to see this side and love between guy groups on television. The friendships and bonds is just so touching in this show, all kinds of loves :')
