I agree with all of your comments here and I just wanted to add that this season saw some of the best acting we’ve ever seen in Norwegian TV. Ever. And to think that this kid was only 17?! The scene in the school cafeteria - have you ever seen tired, exhausted, sad and hopeless portrayed so accurately before? I really felt his despair. The way he stands. The way he takes a while to react to the salesgirl when she asks for more money. Masterful.

There are so many times the show does this, you have characters talking about something, which happens to completely mirror the thoughts of the main character at that moment. Here, Noora goes "No-one is willing to sacrifice anything for love in 2016", and that's exactly what Isak is thinking, he knows there's something between him and Even, but it looks like Even went back to Sonja because he didn't dare come out or break it off with her.

The reason Isak reacts the way he does when Noora talks to Eva on the phone at night, is because what Noora says mirrors his emotions for Even. Many people think he is rude to Noora at that time. But I can not get myself to think so because I can see how hurt Isak is at that time. That clip is so sad.

I show this to my 15 year old students, to give them an example to live by if they ever have a friend that wants to tell them something a little out of the norm, or if they need to say something themselves, don’t be afraid. Your friend will most probably be there for you. They’re like: got it, we’ll Solve it over a kebab. Cause who says no to a kebab.

Oh, they thing they're eating? In the US, I think it's most commonly called "gyros". It's a pita bread stuffed with shawarma meat, salad, and special sauce. If you go to a greek/turkish/middle eastern restaurant in the US and order a "kebab", you'll probably get a "shish kebab", i.e. a grilled meat skewer. If you order the same in Norway, you'll get a "döner kebab", i.e. the pita bread with meat. If you do it in Turkey they'll look at you like you're an idiot and ask you what kind of kebab you want. :-)

Jonas. <3 "What's his name?" It's ridiculous how good his reaction is, first by not having a reaction at all, and the second is that his first question about Even is to ask about his name. Who is he? It's the most important thing in Isak's entire world right there, and Jonas essentially just goes "Alright. Tell me about him, then." And this is so important, because really good teen drama shows are also instructive, they teach teenagers how to behave, how to be a good human. So by the show doing this, every straight guy who watches it now knows how to handle it if their best friend comes out as gay to them.

I wish you could have seen this in real time. We were all collectively holding our breath, it was an emotional roller coaster. You’ve had the most in depth reaction to this episode out of all the other reactors and you pick up on the little things that others miss. Can’t wait for the next one.
