I'm going to leave Isabel's answer to Otto's question for the next update, because I've sort of written myself into a corner in trying to decide what her answer will be.

When Liam, Markus, and Jasper drank their potions at the beginning of the comic, they all experienced some stomach pain / cramps.

But then all the transformations after that I kind of forgot to include that. Neither Sylas nor Otto experience that kick with they transform (although Otto is probably used to it at this point). And then none of Otto's transformations in the past include it.

I could change the last three panels of this update to remove the 'kick' and just say that the kick occurs at the beginning of the story because the potions are old (but then what about Otto and Sylas)?

My original plan was for Isabel to answer that the kick happens when the female form is fertile, but then that conflicts with the first time Otto transformed into a woman and didn't feel any pain, but still had Isabel warn him about getting pregnant.

I think what I would like to do is have Isabel answer that the 'kick' is a side-effect of when a potion includes an increased sex-drive. And then I can either brush Sylas not getting a kick due to him being quite distracted, or I can go back and add a kick to his transformation.

Anyhow, I have two weeks until the next update to think about this.
