Hey lovely patrons,

As many of you may know, for this week's interstitial, I asked Brian to play Benny, the hapless guard from Thief II who's tumultuous home-life is only eclipsed by his tumultuous binge-drinking. I liked the line I wrote for Benny well enough but, I asked Brian to riff and do a monologue so, in the event he came up with something funnier, I could clip that instead. While listening to the five minute monologue he sent in response, something about Brian's cadence struck my ear as being agonizingly familiar, so, on a lark, I threw the underscoring for "Rose's Turn" from the musical Gypsy underneath it and it...worked??? So, as a special Bobus to wrap up our 200th episode and Thief-week celebration, we thought it might be fun to release it as its own separate, booze-soaked track. Please enjoy: "Benny's Turn".
