The enemy and blood rival of the owner of Aldi Sud, who runs Aldi) and some of its products are rebrand Euro goods. You get premium items cheaper there, but staples are way more. #2, door to door paint sales are CutCo style MLMs here. it's likely this story is about some poor shmuck who is trying to offload some awful garbage he was pressured into buying after he showed up for a "job interview." This country is doing so great by the way!
