2024-09-14 22:59:53 +0000 UTC“Had I seen this when I was ten I would’ve made it my entire personality” yeah that was me, it was basically one of four VHS tapes my grandma had when she watched me so I have seen this, conservatively, 485 times - even did an episode of Sewers Of Paris about realizing my uuuuuh “compulsive need to make a joke” might stem from it or at least put it into perspective. Obviously you don’t try to make yourself into Eddie (PI licneses in NY are too expensive anyway) you try to make yourself into the guy who says “If you needed Money so bad Eddie why didn’t you come to me?” Apparently one reason my mom was blindsided by me coming out was cause I had a Jessica Rabbit poster growing up, bless her heart.

So I appreciate this look at a real work of art. Two modern, visual effects heavy films I really appreciate are Furiosa and The Batman. Maybe it's just all the Disney, but GOD did they look beautiful to me!
