A similar recommendation would be Wizards (1977) notable for being the most 70s movie ever

Zipzapzop

I know this has nothing to do with anything really, but I would absolutely love to have you guys talk about the 1981 animated movie, Heavy Metal. Aside from it being a weirdly influential movie, inspiring things like Futurama's Zapp Brannigan and Musk putting a Tesla into space, its also a odd time capsule of early 80's counter culture. AJ needs to see this. Consider it a Palate cleanser after Focus on the Family.

Camoose

The show was awesome, thanks for putting it together

umbraviolet

excellent work, agents

Robert Heilman

Thanks for the great show

David Kawabata

You guys should post a picture recreating the logo

Jimmy McMillan

Awesome thanks!

I went to colorado springs once in 2018 while studying abroad in the US, and had what I think was the most colorado springs experience possible. on my way to the garden of the gods, I stopped for lunch at the cracker barrel by the air force academy (and thus also around the corner from FotF, not that I thought much of that at the time) - mostly because I wanted to see what cracker barrel was like. and did I ever. I got seated by the window, near the end of one of the long tables that made up the middle of the dining area. just after I’d ordered, a group of air force cadets came in, apparently going to lunch at the long table I was sitting next to, and on their way to it they all filed through a narrow passage between two other tables, at one of which were two very old white men dressed exactly as all old white men in colorado dress (flannel, blue jeans, baseball caps which may or may not have been vietnam vet baseball caps, my brain may have added that part later on). as each cadet passed them by, one of the old guys saluted them and said “thank you for your service”. except that a couple of the cadets were latino, and instead of thanking them for their service, the guy said “go back where you came from” in the exact same tone of voice. anyway, the meal was not good, and I’m not sure I will ever go back to cracker barrel if I’m in america again. I simply do not see what more there is to gain from the experience.

Truly doing The Lord's work, can't wait to hear about it

Galena Spader

Nope! Pretty sure FoTF is blissfully unaware of us. Did get some side eye for our masks but exclusively from the many bored dads.

The Worst of all Possible Worlds

From what we can tell, everyone else here is 100% on board.

The Worst of all Possible Worlds

Not yet.

We're big fans of Chiba Bar. They have a drink called "Meet Hanako at Embers" to give you a feel of the vibes (i.e. immaculate).

The Worst of all Possible Worlds

Any recommendations for dinner or just a few drinks in Colorado Springs?

David Kawabata

And did you piss on it?

murt pie

If you were to draw the rest of the parents bodies in the Focus On The Family logo the right side would have the proportions of slender man.

Amy Godliman

Good look on your mission

Samuel Pullen

Also, I wonder if there is anyone who was at this kind of ironically like you are or do they all just really love adventures in odyssey?

Elizabeth Power

He hhhwhattt?

Josh James

Thank you for your service 🫡 Choosing to believe the hands in the FotF logo are a gay couple for my own sanity, and also because it would piss them off.

Ms. Charlie

Did anyone recognize you?

2007 Christian Rock

Into the heart of the enemy! I hope it was like a Frank Peretti book with invisible angels named shit like Tal or Abs.

Dergon

Congratulations and have fun! I’m enjoying looking at your Instagram. It looks weird in there. Fun fact, I once saw a video of a gay men’s choir all standing in front of that sign and singing “if you were gay“ from Avenue Q and then going “we love you, focus on the family!“ Very brave, troll-y and awesome!

Elizabeth Power

"broke boy in retail" - OMFG I've been there, and it ain't pretty. You have my sympathy.

Gary McCammon

I want to believe someone there recognized you guys and did an "Oh shit those fuckers" kind of double take

CpnLag

So odd yall are so close to where I live (denver). Wish I could come to the show but am broke boy trapped in retail. If you get the chance to visit Meow Wolf, best and worst advice is to get high before visiting. It will either make it amazing or you will see what god looks like when it cries. Anyways have fun dudes!

Indiana Willie

It’s not an original thought, but that FotF logo is so sinister I am so excited to hear your whole trip report. From twitter the vibes look inexplicable

PigeonTom

🫡 truly you are our bravest soldiers.
