Brian gets a little surprise, and then we spend the rest of the hour NOT talking about the debate. we just don't want to. Instead, we talk about The Magic School Bus.
I didn't do Shakespeare in high school, but I DID do Shakespeare in 4th grade. Imagine, if you will, a bunch of 10 year olds performing The Taming of the Shrew, with no dialogue changes. I couldn't tell you if we were any good, but we did get the opportunity to perform at the Utah Shakespeare Festival in the Adams Theatre, a replica of the Globe Theatre which has since been torn down (may it rest in peace). So that was fun!

For some reason I looked up the history of Madame Butterfly while listening to a Broadway episode and it got way bleaker than I thought it would. Reading the Wiki felt like watching the Last Duel again as 2 white men distort a real story of exploiting women to make it about themselves

I would pray to have dreams about hanging out with the Ninja Turtles. I get it, Josh.

thoroughly enjoyed this. even the so-called unlistenable bit. it made doing the trimming on some herbs much more tolerable for an hour

Hope we can start having a reoccurring segment where you all try to recap a Magic Schoolbus episode from memory

Hi there! Here to make a correction when it comes to people making edits to Puffs. Schools ask to make edits because they are bringing it to completion that has either a 60 or 45 minute time limit. Instead of just doing an excerpt, these schools think they have to abbreviate the whole show in order to meet that time limit. They try to do this with other shows like Equus, Amadeus, The Seagull (some of the more absurd choices to fit in 45 minutes)

Looks like you need to add a certain George Lucas film to the Fancy Movie Time docket…Howard The Duck.

Oh THX, you mean the Tomlinson Holman Experiment, named for Tomlinson Holman, the maker of the THX standard, and Professor at USC film and television sound at the School of Cinematic Arts.
