Hussein Kesvani (Trashfuture,Ten Thousand Posts) joins the lads in Odyssey for further adventures in pen pals, unemployment, and some good old fashioned lore spelunking. Odyssey actually does this sometimes, to their credit. There's an interesting 3 parter we didn't cover called The Perfect Witness, which is about Jenny, and a later character named Lisa Mulligan gets a couple of her own episodes.

The Worst of all Possible Worlds

I'm sure plenty of people have thought of this and it probably has been done somewhere but audio dramas, especially in this format where there's no narrator voice, would REALLY be the perfect medium to tell stories with a blind PROTAGONIST.

41:40 I'm playing dark souls while listening to this and am in fact having a good time

Thom Coté

So i was listening to an older episode (the ethics in journalism one) when you point out that they are making Connie dumber and incredibly credulous. And now it makes sense because in this episode we learned that she had previously handed off her higher brain functions to Whit

TalkGibberish

Lifetime movies gave us QANON and weird conspiracy theories about mole children

Jessie W

Tldr lifetime movies are specifically engineered to create a sense of raw terror at the world around them in their audience and it only got worse after cyber seduction

Jessie W

Dear lads please call me so I can talk about cyber seduction: his secret life and how I think it is accidentally a window into the minds of the target audience for these movies and also a harbinger of our current hellscape where everyone is terrified of sex crimes that aren’t happening, because nobody else will listen to me say it

Jessie W

okay last comment holy shit i lost it as soon as whit started talking his shit

BrianAlflordIsGoodActually

also i don't know why i didn't expect you guys to know who brian david gilbert is but in hindsight that also makes sense because he too is a disillusioned former theater kid who does specific deep dives into media

BrianAlflordIsGoodActually

idk how i didnt peg josh as an ex-goon sooner but it makes a lot of sense in hindsight

Love hearing Connie pounce and immediately start info vomiting Jesus at the new person. It's funny and icky cause I saw that very same scenario multiple times.
