Heads up and a Little Gift!

Hello guys!

In the last months I've been working and experimenting even more than usual with oils, soooo I've invested in a proper drying box!!!
About drying boxes and their benefits (protection from dust, speeding up the exsiccation, matting effect), if you have been here for a while you probably remember this video, that soon after I turned to Unlisted because I was embarrassed by my own craftsmanship, lol (it's still hidden and of course dated, so be gentle lololol) --> https://youtu.be/Qi5nIwvgzhw

We learned that products disappear quickly after a video so, in case you are committed to oil painting and you want to have a bit of advantage, here's the one I bought!
(I almost posted a picture with a Darkwater model under embargo! πŸ˜±πŸ˜…)
--> https://amzn.to/4nYMMBy
It's essentially a food dryer with a single, set temperature (45'C), and you can totally buy one of those (they literally do the same job!), but I like this one for the small footprint and size and the general form factor of the lid that's more painter friendly than the oven shaped ones.

!!! AAAAAAAND... !!!
here's a little gift for you from the friends at Mindwork Games!

Hey Marco! I got some cheap oil paints to see if it would be something I enjoyed. I now regret getting the cheap ones, they seem to separate and get clumpy, and I had some issues with my acrylic layers underneath getting damaged. Now I'm hearing about these heavy body acrylics and water color gouache paints. I was wondering / hoping / thinking that comparing all these would be a really cool video idea with all the different kinds of paints people are using for mini painting now. What I really want to know is if I should get heavy body acrylics or just some nice oil paints. I know that will be a subjective answer, but your insight is always welcome. Thanks Marco! I love you!

I never knew there were dedicated airbrush dryers! I literally just bought a food dehydrator a couple weeks ago for the same purpose after seeing them used on the airbrushing channel Barbatos Rex. I just used it the first time this weekend on a batch of oil washed Kruleboyz. At least the bigger box I bought can pull double duty as a filament dryer for my FDM printer, so the bigger size is not a complete waste of space.
