An announcement + cool stuff coming up in February

Hi everyone. Hope you've been well. January has been a study in contrasts, but I'm (Josh) cautiously optimistic about what the rest of the winter might look like.

So, the first thing: if you listened to the most recent episode of the podcast with Josh Sawyer, you might have noticed that we actually have now run out of space in our outro to credit all of the patrons. This is one of those "great problems to have," but we still want to make sure everyone gets credited.

As such, we're changing how we do the podcast credits. From here on out, if you subscribe at the $5 tier, you'll be thanked in the credits of the first episode that releases after you initially subscribed. If you subscribe at the $10 tier, you'll still be thanked at the end of every episode. This should give us the space to still credit all of our patrons while making sure the podcast credits don't become too unwieldy, at least for the foreseeable future. 

Previously released episodes will stay as they are. Also, the way we do credits for our videos will still remain the same; we'll roll your name in the credits if you're subscribing at the $5 tier and give you a verbal shout out at the $10 tier.

Speaking of videos, by the way, we're planning to release our next video to YouTube within the next week or two. It's about Tik Tok and influencer culture as seen through the lens of my experience doing high school forensics. In case you missed it, we released a preview of the first 15 minutes a couple weeks ago to $5 and up subscribers. The full thing is going to be like 45 minutes long, and I can't wait for you to see it.

Other stuff to look forward to in February: we recorded an episode of our podcast with Trevor Strunk (No Cartridge) about Dark Souls this past weekend, and we'll be recording an episode with Trevor Beaulieu (Champagne Sharks) this coming weekend. It's also been a bit since we did an Adventures in Odyssey episode, so we'll make sure to get one of those out soon too.
