I confirm I was using a Zinc yellow with an old first generation label! Don't worry the vibrancy of that yellow will be toned down by the next stages (oils in particular). Yeah, no hidden/secret tricks; most of the times I work Molotow paints straight from the bottle, but trigger control is always the center of everything airbrush related and extra dilution is the ultimate "trick" to make single puffs/applications/layers less visible and opaque, so easier to control and manage!

I'm trying to paint along with Marco, but I don't know which Yellow he uses for the skin tone; I guessed at Molotow ONE4ALL Zinc Yellow but my test models look too phosphor-y and not a lot like living hobgrot skin?
Now this may well also be my airbrush technique, as this is my first attempt with one; is there anything more to this technique that working thinner and going slower and learning the feel of the airbrush trigger?
