[Download] Realistic Textures V97 Test Build

Hey Everyone, Here is the latest version of Realistic Textures. It is kind of a test build, It uses optifine connected textures for stone, granite and ores. I wanted to share this  with you to see how it performs. Visual wise I think it looks far better than the original repeating pattern, the only downside is that parallax(3D) doesn't work prorerly with it. Let me know how it looks and performs on your end, if everything is fine I can update other blocks with this method as well. To make this feature work make sure to set connected textures to Fancy in the Video Settings/Quality menu.

Note: Disable anisotropic filtering if you're getting transparent textures at water edges and If the leaves are looking weird you need to set the tree settings to fancy. Also make sure to set the proper texture resolution in the shader settings as well, especially if you're using SEUS PTGI HRR 2.1 or 3. Another thing, If you're getting the resource pack reload failed message that means you're running out of RAM. In that case simply go with the 512x version.

No need to download the previous versions, these are all standalone. I recommend using the 512x version for gameplay.

Addons can be found HERE.

My other packs are available here

Test Map 1.14  (Forge and the .jar files are required) You can find all the cutom items here.

Test Map 1.17  (Forge and the .jar files are required) You can find all the cutom items here.

Installation for the main packs are the same as before, just copy the downloaded .zip file into your resource pack folder and enable the pack in the ingame menu. If you're coming from on older version you can simply delete that. The new versions always have everything included. The jar files are only necesary for the custom models. Here is a short installation video on how to install it properly. You can find the download links for forge and optifine in the video desctiption or down below.

Installation video  ( It's for 1.16.4, but the same applies for other versions as well, just make sure you use the proper version for Forge and Optifine otherwise your game will crash.)

The mods folder can be found here, if it's not there just make a new one."C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\mods"

The resourcepacks folder can be found here."C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\resourcepacks"

Shader Settings (clickable)

To match the quality of the screenshots, use SEUS PTGI HRR 2.1 and set RAYTRACE_GEOMETRY_QUALITY to 0, and change the tonemap to ACEStonemap in the shader settings.

To get the Parallax effect (3D bumpy textures) you need to use a compatible shader, I recommend using Continuum 2.1, SEUS PTGI HRR 2.1 or SEUS Renewed. ( SEUS Renewed only supports it up to 512x)

much appreciated. Lava makes sense. I am suppose I am expecting to much with Minecraft visuals > realism :P

Hey, you can find it in the options/video settings/shaders and it's on the bottom right "shader options". Nothing comes to my mind for the lava, usually it tanks the performance because it's animated. That's why most packs doesn't include it unless it's a very low resolution one.

Shader Settings (clickable) - Super new to Minecraft and using your awesome textures. However, I cannot find the area where are the settings stated above ? Also, do you have any recommendations on a pack that I can use for the lava?

or some real hardcore bottlenecking.

that's a 2080 disguised as a 4080.

The issue is that optifine doesn't have a proper version for 1.19.3 yet. That's why it's not working. :( I've tried it and even though it was running I was only getting like sub 15fps.

I can´t use it on version 1.19.3. Every time I try to use it, the loading of the ressorce pack fails. But on 1.19.2 it worked. Forge and OptiFine are on newest versions now, but still not working... Can you help?

On RTX4080 with 1024x textures I get around 30FPS, with 512x textures around 60FPS. Personally, I prefer to use the standard option with 3d textures - it gives a better effect for me. But a combination of the two would be great. I didn't notice any major changes in the fluidity of the image. I also tested on version 1.19.3 but the game is not playable (around 10FPS).

Hey, You can use the 1.19 version of the pack on MC1.16 just ignore the incompatible message. (Also don't use the RT Addon.jar, that's only for 1.19)

hodiltoN

Hi, Yes you can. Just dont use the RT Addon.jar.

hodiltoN

wheres 1.16.5 i cant find it

skatt

Can I use the 1.19 pack with 1.18.2? Sorry I don't know much about minecraft modding

Hey, Here is the download link. :) https://drive.google.com/drive/u/1/folders/1-IPC6_8Inm-1bfxQbFY0l48-9D0duud0

hodiltoN

Hi, where exactly is the download for it? I see links to the previous versions, but I'm trying to download the one from this post. Nevermind. I figured it out.

LovelyDeathxx

Hey, I don't think you can. The way Minecraft works, it stiches all the textures together into a huge one. On AMD cards there is a 16384x16384 limit and the 1024x pack goes over that. That's why AMD cards can't load the 1024x pack.

hodiltoN

how can l use 1024x pack on amd cards?
