Happy upload day. I brought you a game that's kinda dark and grim.
I played this last year, and hilariously forgot some key things about the game's story since then. It's an interesting game, though I'm more mixed on it than usual. I don't quite have the gushing effusive praise for every facet of it like I do for other short horror games. But boy do I have still have a whole basket of character analysis to go alongside it!
I'll have an update post when I know for sure where we're going next. The side project related to House of Leaves is looking more likely, but everything requires further work before I can point to anything being our next stop for sure.

On top of your thoughts on the relationship between Ralph and Zimforth mirroring an abusive relationship and the way it echoes and maps itself onto Ralph’s interactions and relationship with Johnny, I can’t help but think about the parallels to sects of fundamentalist christianity. A jealous god that demands that no other figure be placed above or equal to him, and requires eternal, faithful service and sacrifice. The idea of What if, at the last second, God Didn’t Stop Abraham from Killing Isaac, and In Fact, Demanded He Keep On Doing That Shit.
