This song turned out so good because of him, and I'm so stoked that he could help out. I'm also extremely happy that I could include a file called "JustOneDay_GRUNT.wav" on this post. I didn't even realize it was there in the mix until he sent me the stems (it shows up in the Dale bridge). It just goes to show you how important the little things are.

This is a late comment bc I'm a new patron, but the instrumental for this song makes me so happy. I've been listening to it on repeat on and off for a few days because it just makes me feel so relaxed and blissful. its good music.

But the first few verses of the song seem to be in Bb, but then Dale's verse is in G, which if I remember my music theory classes correctly(it's been a few years), is the relative minor of Bb. Was this intended to be kind of like Dale is the sad part of the group? (However, this could also just be that it's in G because that would lead to a Nice lead into B) Edit: And then we move up a half step once Dale is gone into the "happier" feeling key of B because he's no longer bothering them???? Mr. BDG please confirm?

2021-04-13 16:48:36 +0000 UTCI know its a fairly obvious read, but I appreciate that you put both the effort into making sure Dale was as Normal As Possible, while also making damn sure that he had the most technically proficient singing voice of the four. ... An annoying number of googles later, and I have learned that the word for the singing thing I wanted to describe is called "melisma". Dale does some good melismatic vocals! EDIT: they all do the melismatic thing. I stand mistaken! The rest of my point stands.
