Editing "hat" | Process Livestream

Hey y'all! It's our trial run of a second livestream! As I mentioned before, this is a process livestream, so it'll just be me editing the upcoming video. This livestream will go live tomorrow:

THURSDAY, MARCH 25TH @ 1PM ET

(Just hop into this post tomorrow and you'll be able to click through the video at the top and watch it. Or you can just hang out on the page for 24 hours. I won't stop you.)

And again, this process video will obviously contain spoilers for the next video, codenamed "hat," since we'll be editing that video on the stream. So be aware of that if you don't feel like watching how it's made or maybe want to go back and watch after the video comes out in a few weeks!

Enjoying seeing the repertoire of responses trying to guess what this video could possibly be about. It's like bingo but there's only one square.

Anyone else humming “Finishing the Hat” through the whole thing? Anyway, love watching your process - you seem to make creative decisions so fast (I agonize, personally).

This was awesome, I love all the editing content!!

Since I don't want to be spoiled on Hat, I'll probably not watch; but at least the VoD will still be available after the fact, as a sort of behind the scenes look.

What they say is beautiful my goodness, I'm adding that to my large collection of quotes. One of my favorites is from Griffin McElroy during the lecture he did a few years ago, "There's no upper limit to the amount of effort you can put into improving something." At first glance it seems to be saying "work harder! You can still make it better!" But it's actually a nicer way of saying, "it's never going to be perfect, because you can always keep making it better." It takes the pressure off of it ever being truly perfect, and let's you decide when you're satisfied.

Will you wear a hat during said livestream?

They say that the best stories can withstand being spoiled, because the experience of the story itself does not depend on its audience’s ignorance to its ending. Or something to that effect. In any case, it will be worth the insight!
