Hi everyone! Time for the monthly DevLog - on this special 9th anniversary π
Studio's Life
I founded neko.works in February 2016 and released my first commercial game, Super Night Riders, the same month.
That means it's also the game's 9th anniversary π
Super Night Riders S1
I've fixed a few long-standing issues, including collisions with various track elements...

... and the rival riders are back in the race!
They were broken for so many builds - I really missed them π

Light Fairytale Episode 3
A (very) short video showcasing an alley in Hydropolis, the main town in Episode 3.

It also showcases a few new features:
- The camera is now usable during cutscenes and dialogues.
- Dialogue boxes dynamically adjust their position and scale.

A few screenshots...

Bonus?!
Last time, I mentioned commissioning a new cover for Episode 3 from romiy.
Unfortunately, it didn't make it in time for this month either π
However, here's the draft!
You can probably tell this episode is centered around the Water Elemental arc.

What's Next
March will be crunch time for Super Night Riders S1 - if I keep this pace, I believe I can release it by the end of the month or early April!
It's been 4 years since my last release, Light Fairytale Episode 2, so these are exciting times π
Thank you all for your continued support and patience. I know what it's like to wait years for a game - I'm a huge fan of Fumito Ueda, the genius behind the ICO series. His games take about 10 years between releases, with total silence during development π
By the way, his 4th game was recently announced! Check it out:

See you all soon π
