Patreon Stream #88 Recap + Handpicked PRL choice!

Hey Patrons! Here's a recap for today's stream for those who missed it.

The song chosen to go on the to-do list today was...

Lichdragon Fortissax from Elden Ring, from the list of SilentIb! I'd really like to do this one this month given how well it fits with the season. It was even in the last Halloween Poll, but after failing to secure a victory last year, it's managed to brute-force itself it's way on to the to-do list. If I am able to squeeze it in it'd likely be the song before the Halloween Special. It's a bit of a toughie given it's complexity and length, but I'll give it my best effort to get it done if possible.

BUT WAIT!

It turns out SilentIb had to pause his pledge just a few days ago, so technically this one shouldn't have gone through. Considering how this is both my mistake, and that SilentIb has been with us for several years, I quickly made the executive decision that it will be staying in the line-up.

So, to make up for that, I made the spur of the moment decision to just go ahead and throw another one on the to-do list:

Deku Palace from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, from the list of Emerald! We managed to get very lucky and end up with two songs that fit the theme this month, and since this is a bit of a short and sweet one, I'm going to try to get it done in October as well.

So, since we got these two songs that should fit in well this month, I've decided to use my handpick for a song I'd like to do sometime after October:

Not Alone from Final Fantasy IX, from the list of Artomis! I've actually seen this one on quite a few different Patron lists over time. Last time we had a listening stream, where we kept randomly getting chiller/softer songs, I started feeling a bit inspired to do another chill song (I don't believe we've had one on this level in quite some time), so I figured we could hit this one up.

BUT WAIT...

I have one last surprise for you!

Since I was only able to get three songs out last month, I started working on another song on the side specifically for this month while I've been working on Ripe Seeds.

I am finally going to put an end to what has become the annual Halloween meme around these parts, and giving you Mad Monster Mansion from Banjo-Kazooie later this month as a bonus song! Guh-huh!

(If you're unfamiliar with the meme: Mad Monster Mansion was on one of the first, maybe the first iirc, Patreon Halloween polls, and has shown up in other Halloween polls but failed to get the victory every time, so it's become a bit of a running joke each year that Mad Monster Mansion could, but doesn't, end up happening in October)
