Update Post! October 4th, 2024

Hey Patrons, here's your first update for the month of October 2024!

First off, the to-do list recap:

Ripe Seeds will be next up, which I'm looking to have finished and up early to mid next week. You'll notice I've listed all of the potential collab songs as November, my plan is to dedicate the entire month of November to mostly collaborations! Maybe not every song will feature a collab, but the 3 listed for sure. Peppermint and the medleys will remain TBA for now, if time permits, I might try to squeeze GBA Medley in November.

I've been having a lot of fun with October over the last few years, hitting up many "dark-themed" songs for spooky season, and I plan to continue that this year. I'm not sure what exactly will follow Ripe Seeds, as we have another a few more to add this month: our monthly Patreon Stream and PRL handpick choices, as well as the yearly Halloween Poll song.

Our next Patreon Stream will take place at our usual date and time: tomorrow, October 5th, starting around 4:00 PM US Eastern time. A recap with the stream pick and my personal handpick choice for the month will be posted shortly after the stream ends.

As for the Halloween Poll, I should have that ready mid to late next week. Before that, I like to do a special Halloween song themed listening stream to gather some ideas. I'd like to get this done asap, so I'll go ahead and slate that for this Monday, starting at: 4:00 PM US Eastern.

Last year I did an initial vote in the GaMetal Discord to see what songs people would be most interested in, then came up with two different Patreon polls (an "A" poll and "B" poll) based on the results from the Discord vote. If enough songs are close enough this year like they were before, I'll likely do the same thing.

Final thing for now: another really cool feature. Thanks to our good friend Tee Lopes, I was bestowed the honor of recording vocals and guitar for an arrangement of the classic GI Joe Theme Song for the recently released GI Joe: Wrath of Cobra!

It doesn't look like there's an official soundtrack release quite yet, but you can hear it in the tweet that I posted here.
