All May Madness 2023 Songs!

The preview/reveal stream just ended (posted the archived vid with this post, it begins around 11:22), so here's the full song list of upcoming remakes for this who missed it:

Fighting of the Spirit (Tales of Symphonia)

Destiny (Popful Mail)

Greedy Game (Ristar)

Dark World (The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past)

J-E-N-O-V-A (Final Fantasy VII)

Brinstar (Metroid)

Battle! Champion Iris (Pokémon Black 2 / White 2)

Never Turn Back (Shadow the Hedgehog)

Of these songs: three tied for the #1 spot on the Patreon Ballot (Greedy Game, Dark World, J-E-N-O-V-A), and Destiny came in at a close #2 on the Patreon Ballot. On the public ballot, Brinstar was #2 and Champion Iris placed #1. Fighting of the Spirit and Never Turn Back were both wildcard picks of mine, they had decent placements, but I've been almost including these songs for the past few years and I wanted to finally get them done this year.

So there is your official May Madness remake set list! We'll be officially kicking off May Madness this week with the first song: Fighting of the Spirit. On that note, the song list above is roughly the planned song order, but a song or two might change spots If I decide to later into the month.

Other than that, thank you all as always for your support and awesome suggestions, I hope you're looking forward to this year's remakes! 😃

PS: Thought I'd go ahead and mention: if all goes according to plan, the recent GaMetal Discord Request Battle winner, Introducing Wario Deluxe, will fit in somewhere later in the month as well.
