For $500 goal, which miniseries on Polish history should I undertake?
Added 2017-02-28 09:53:00 +0000 UTCOnce we reach the $500 p/m goal, I'll tackle a miniseries on Polish history to celebrate. I need your help to choose the period of Polish history I should delve into - which century should I base my coverage on?

Oh absolutely Holly! Background is one of my favourite parts of a story so I'll make sure to include a neat introduction to it all. I too have worked with many Poles, and they always worked harder than me!

2017-03-08 11:12:46 +0000 UTCCan you stick in a bit of background on how the whole Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth came to be and got so huge before the partitions? I work with both a native Pole and a native Lithuanian and neither could give me any background other than arguing over of the dual states was really running the show.

2017-02-28 12:07:42 +0000 UTCThe partitions are not so much failure, but success for the other 3 powers (okay maybe failure for the Polish peoples, but not the aristocrats)
