[Important] Full Disclosure

Hey guys, how's going? I wanted to make this post because i feel like you need to know about these things immediately since it's going to be important for this patreon and how it works.

I'm not particularly interested in being a famous artist, i do what i do because i like it and i love when people give me feedback on my work (both positive and negative), and i love the fact that some of you like my artstyle enough to pay me money. That gives me such a feeling that i really can't describe, it means that my efforts as an artist are giving results.

I opened this patreon because a friend suggested me to try and because i thought it would be a nice way to support myself in case i couldn't get commissions. This means that i really didn't have much faith in the success of the patreon, that's why i set up the rewards like that: a pic for each individual patron.

Problem: things are slowly getting out of hand. My popularity skyrocketed out of nowhere and with that the amount of patrons too. This means that the amount of work i'm getting monthly is slowly becoming overwhelming. You can already see that i changed the amount of patrons that can have specific rewards, it's my attempt to try and contain this problem, but it's not a solution.

I feel like things are moving way too fast and i'm in constant fear that i won't be able to catch up. I managed in the last few weeks but i also have obligations in real life (like finding an actual full time job or the fact that i have other people relying on my artistic skills for other projects unrelated to my online presence).

What does this mean: i'm currently talking with other, more popular artists to understand how they manage their patreon. When i can come up with a better system than the one i have, i will implement it. Of course, this will mean that how the rewards work will change too.

But I don't want to make you guys feel like you got cheated out of your money: when July comes i'm still going to work on all your rewards the same way i did in the past, but when those are done the new system will be implemented. And if you don't like the new system, that's perfectly fine. Money is really important and you have the absolute freedom to decide how to use it, i don't want you guys to feel forced to support me out of a misplaced sense of superiority on my part, if the new system doesn't meet your expectations or needs you can stop being patrons, i won't get annoyed by it.

I'm really sorry about this whole ordeal, i should have been more organized from the beginning.
