2026-02-26 15:23:51 +0000 UTCI remember listening to One Pact in 2023 and wishing for more 5th gen groups to be self produced, and for more unique songs. Cortis and Lngshot definitly are the perfect sound and groups i was looking for

2026-02-16 10:40:00 +0000 UTCAbout your comments at the end, I 100% agree! These new groups are putting out stuff that like RIGHT up my alley & I'm so happy abt it & seeing them "play around" with the K-pop standards/method & other genres mixed perfecly! You should definitely watch the FaceTime MV bcz some of the girl trainees under MoreVision make an appearance & are possibly debuting later this year! The Never Let Go visualizer is also super cool 😊

2026-02-13 23:50:31 +0000 UTCJay Park and Gsoul did the vocal directing with Never let go and probably other tracks from the album 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Also Mixtape 2 is coming up and maybe the full album!! To think Lngshot debuted exactly a month ago and still had so much music, contents and stages out there~~

2026-02-12 11:03:15 +0000 UTCAlso… regarding the HUNGER you talked about in the modern rappers of Kpop speech you had… EunHwi is considered still 4th generation idols, but right at the end… So I am not sure if you want to count him or not, but he gives me the raw passion and hunger for rap

2026-02-12 02:00:45 +0000 UTCMy whole Kpop life I have been searching for “the best formula” for a Kpop group (like certain members and their roles for the group, then what kind of person each member is and what brings to the group) and I always end up realizing I am trying to form SeungRi-less BIGBANG. Because the only possibility that group could have been better would have been if Jay Park had transfered to YG (as Yang Hyun Suk tried to make it happen) and debuted instead of SeungRi as the third rapper with his American influence yet not really changing their sound but eventually becoming something like Jung Kook but hip hop focused. And this crazy shit will never happen, our universe was not ready for that… So I kept searching/thinking about a group to match the BIGBANG level (“at least”) and although LNGSHOT is definitely not like BIGBANG, like I am not saying: “This member reflects this member” and so on… But I simply cannot stop thinking: “This group might be it, this group will go WILD” Ohyul was the only question mark for me, but the more I get into them, the More i see the Vision! Cortis will be wild too, but being under HYBE is a double-edge sword, whereas being under Jay Park is like those madafaking high fives with which he introduced them at MMA! I have said this a while ago… 5th generation of Kpop is like the 1st generation but on the global scale. Not just sound-wise and style-wise but as if Kpop reached its final form with the 4th generation, reached the global impact Seo Taiji predicted and wished for very back then, when he changed the music scene of Korea top to bottom and Kpop started to form and shape itself. And now we can see the industry is changing and who is big and who is the impactful one is also changing. First of all HYBE HQ overgrew the whole Kpop and basically has its own playground. Second of all JYP is not the third label out of Big 3, who wouldn’t have continued if Wonder Girls did not save them. Third of all SM fought within themselve with Lee Sooman and his gang sold themselve to Kakao (boo, boo, stupid SM…) and YG lost madafaking Teddy and so all of this marked the moment of “new start and the scene getting reshaped”. Why Am I saying all of this? I am shocked how LNGSHOT makes me worry for The Black Label future, I mean… Teddy brought the YG swag and everything with him, but Jay Park with that MMA performance, open My Vision and LNGSHOT cemented and made me feel: “Fuck, shit is getting real, this will be wild and I am so ready for that!!”
