So happy for this series! Lastart really shows off each member's star quality. You can just feel that they've got "it". Lastart Yushi in particular basically has its own fandom haha. If you're still looking for good live stages, I recommend their 250522 performance at Soonsil University Festival. You can hear their voices pretty clearly and they are so stable. It surprised me, idk why they don't get to showcase their talent more often.

2026-01-30 08:44:05 +0000 UTCthat might cause a huge rift in the fandom.. NCT alr have enough solo stan rn i cant imagine what will happen

2026-01-30 04:43:31 +0000 UTCThe reason why I thought Ryu had a chance was because he could have been the J-Pop idol per se if they decided for this unit to be actually real J-Pop group. Because with all the changes of plans from the original NCT Tokyo they collabed with Japanese labels to cast new trainees (like Ryu) to make it like an actual journey of a J-Pop idol, where you can see the development and progress of theirs from their early beginnings. And that was exactly Ryu’s case. So besides Anderson, Ryu is the next one they were considering in my opinion. It was Anderson or Ryo depending if they wanted a rap focused member or vocal focused member. And then JungMin or Ryu, which lead to choosing/adding JaeHee, but then they still could have chosen Ryu or add him instead of JungMin, when he left

2026-01-29 01:50:39 +0000 UTC7:40 - I actually hope SM makes something like Lastart Season 2 for NCT to create a new unit through having all the members competing against each other

2026-01-29 01:38:28 +0000 UTCThank you for watching LaStart, I was watching along for the first time in full with you. Hope in future we can a get some wish variety content. They are pretty adorable and you can really see more of their personality and it just makes you fall in love with them more

2026-01-27 13:38:53 +0000 UTCSince SMRookies25 (boys) have around 20-25 members, the fact that now for the pre-debut content they chose these 15 ones, I would say the group is going to be formed of all of them

2026-01-27 12:50:20 +0000 UTCThank you for the LASTART reaction, PD!! I also got really tired of all the survival show dramas, so it was a delight when I watched LASTART. And truly, it made me appreciate NCT WISH members more. If you're curious about Haruta, Kassho, and SMTR25, someone already said it here, but they'll be on a show called "Reply High School". It's not a survival show but more like a reality variety show. Also, NCT WISH's 'ON THE MAP' just got released on Mnet Plus. It's a travel variety show if you're interested! I think they're going to feature other idols as well after NCT WISH

2026-01-27 06:01:43 +0000 UTCOnly Haruta and Kassho remained in SM - Now under the trainee group SMTR25. SM revealed plans to debut a new boy group within 2026 from the SMTR25 boys, but it is unsure how many boys out of the current 15 trainees will be debuting. (Also, SM collab with eggiscoming to produce a show called "Reply High School" featuring SMTR25, dropping soon in 17 Feb). Jungmin/Jungbin used to post short vocal covers on his Instagram acc, and is often seen hanging out with Vocal Trainer unc and their other staffs. But mid 2025 he announced that he will be busy and deactivating his acc. I personally hope that this means he will be training for debut once again. Minjae/MInsu will be debuting as the leader of Daily:Direction, under the stage name "En-Kim". The debut date has yet to be announced but they have been dropping trailers on the group concepts and members on social medias. Heitetsu went back to Japan and debuted as an actor in 2025. Anderson became a dance trainer back in Toronto and actively posts dance covers on TikTok. Little information is known about Ryu after he left SM. He most likely returned to non-celebrity life in Japan.

2026-01-27 04:20:47 +0000 UTCThe JungMin thing is most likely the vocal thing BoA talked about. Plus he is not a trainee anymore. He left SM and I am not sure if he even pursue idol career at all. I read on reddit he got into producing
