2026-01-18 14:44:02 +0000 UTChonestly it makes sense like izna and even kep1er most of the mnet show groups put 2 songs from the show (1 on the concept mission and 1 from the finale) within the debut album, with the planet series i think only zb1 did not do that but it was the case for the other groups. also it makes sense that nb2h was chosen as it was the most streamed song with chains

2026-01-18 12:27:32 +0000 UTCit seems like they're pushing leo for the all rounder position hence while he do take on vocal lines most of it as during the bridge with his high notes and the adlibs (which sounds great) he's also been given rap lines (e.g. formula and cinnamon shake) if we remember correctly even for the mama stage leo was supposed to be on the rap part of the hola solar stage

Personally, this group is so damn important to me especially because of leo and sangwon and i have so much faith in them but i have zero faith in wakeone and they just had to end up under this company. Leo has so much talent as a producer. I have seen him carry music production in traineeA as well as his solo career and i can say for sure if given a chance he can do great service for this group. Not to forget sangwon is a great composer himself although his sound is more sentimental, he is nevertheless a great asset in that aspect. Xinlong and sanghyeon are also very well capable to write their own parts as well. I just hope this group does't get messed up like the previous ones in their music direction. I NEED this group to make it work and make it big.

I feel like it shapes them so well and they both r such a fascinating songs with more impactful production, that certainly leaves a huge impression. I hope they gonna promote raw flame and that's why they didn't do a stage for it. That just gives me high hopes for it to be promoted later on perhaps with a full on performance video even tho it's such a waste to not have it as a title track. Freak alarm is a good song but the thing with freak alarm is that it doesn't give anything new or doesn't give anyone an idea of what this group is capable of with their own sound and these boys r just capable of so much and even more. And I hope with the next comeback the company gonna hear all the feedback and won't be afraid to go fully in with them. Even tho formula divided ppl into two and all and even if u don't like formula like out of freak alarm and formula I would've chosen formula any day jsut bc it shapes such a character it has its own sound and isn't as generic

Chain fits in a bit bcus i does have darkness i would associate with ALD1's concept but Imo, lucky macho and brat attitude would be suit the album a lot more. Overall its a good bunch of songs just no cohesiveness.

And about their direction I think it's unfair to judge it since they probably had the debut prepared before they knew who was in the line up and they have little time...and they have time to figured out their sound...really liked the album. too.

2026-01-18 03:52:36 +0000 UTCit's just a typical example of a debut group trying to fit into the songs instead of having songs made to accentuate the group. the producers just need some more time to figure out how to make better use of the members. an example is how much anxin and geonu were used vocally compared to leo since they have cleaner and more typical voices textually while leo has alot of colour and character so they needa make songs that with that in mind.

2026-01-18 03:42:47 +0000 UTCraw flame is so fucking good but i agree it needs a bit tweaking for it to be title track material. it is by far my favourite song off this album and i've been playing it on repeat!! idk if i would put raw flame as the pre-release and formula as the tt though, i personally would feel disappointed if formula came out after the craziness that was raw flame. ngl during b2p sanghyeon didn't really leave a huge impression on me but i think his rap tone, when utilised well, adds so much to a song. same goes for xinlong and leo as well - i really love the 2nd verse of cinnamon shake because of that! i hope their producers evaluate this ep and try to make use of their unique tones more in the future. tbh i think all the songs on this album are decent and sound good individually but together, it lacks cohesion and a theme - which makes sense given the limited time they had, but zb1's debut ep proved this wrong so idk what i was expecting LOL i really hope wakeone steps up for this group from their first cb onwards like... yeah they'll probably be popular enough to sustain themselves, but even then with the amount of talent in this group, they could really hit it big and their team has to make the right decisions for that to happen.

2026-01-18 03:37:10 +0000 UTCI like Freak Alarm as a song but I think I would like it better if it wasn't named Freak Alarm because there's nothing freaky about this song, I feel like I'm being gaslit each time the hook comes on. Another thing I'd like to add, isn't Sangwon supposed to be the center ? I feel like he kinda disappears after the intro of the song. At the end of the day I feel like I expected more from ALD1 because ZB1 set a high bar with In Bloom as their debut (and Zhang Hao is all over the song), so that's probably influenced my perception. Still going to keep tuning in though because Xinlong.
