your VIXX comparison just opened my eyes, ALD1 genuinely would do so well in that kind of sound/concept and this also would help differentiate them from their 5th gen peers

What's funny is I was apparently so focused on JiaHao that my brain didn't absorb any other faces. So when watching b2p, I had no spoilers even though I had seen all these stages lol This also explains why I recognized Chains during the mission but couldn't figure out why. Especially since I had thought I had done a good job avoiding ALD1 content -.-

However, I do believe that at this stage Sangwon and Xinlong have bigger "centre" power. I'm not as convinced about Anxin though. Anxin still needs to work on expressions more in my opinion.

2026-01-18 12:01:38 +0000 UTCSo i was one that didnt mind if there was no story which i still hold that thought but after streaming the mv so much lmao and also junseo explaining the mv in their mv reaction apparently the mv DID have a story now after that, I just agree that whoever was in charge of all that did not do a good job because it should not be that complicated for barely anyone to get the presence of a story but meh. Anyways I am happy you saw these performances because I knew you would definitely see something more after these so i am very glad you did. I cant wait for the boys to do more but apart from the music they have been so fun to see in their own variety and as guests like their silence of idol and zip daesung were pretty fun :) Also cinnamon shake was so fun they sold that. ALSO hard YES on the song is more cohesive when seen or even heard without the mv smhhh.

I’m fine with this debut because i’m sure they’re still looking for a sound that would match the members mind you that these debut album was already chosen prior to Ald1 members being finalized.

2026-01-18 07:41:02 +0000 UTCI thought Freak Alarm was pretty mid at first but it's been growing on me with each performance and now I think I actually enjoy it. The Music Core performance in particular really sold it for me, they just seemed to be having so much fun with it. Overall I think I like the performances for Freak Alarm more than Formula. Cinnamon Shake (it's not from B2P btw) is my song though, I've been vibing to it on repeat.

But other than that I feel like this song really works for the 8 of them and the performances shows that a lot better. Also chains ot8 ver... obsessed with that
