2025-12-31 22:25:28 +0000 UTCRandomly thoughts before finale : 1. If someone from the good guys team has to die it CAN NOT be Dustin, Steve and Lucas, Max pleaseeeee please 2. I hate that 008 is right. El will have to die or lose her powers for the military to leave her alone. 3. On that note F*** the military 4. Vecna could just suck Holly back from The Upside Down but bro decided to slowly walk and let her try and escape just for cultivating aura. Love it 5. Vecna can control the demos and other creatures of the Abyss. But how much control does he have over the Mind Flayer ( not any im guessing) 6. Is there a washroom at the Sqwak station? All of them but especially Nancy and Jonathan need a shower and a change of clothes. But the world is ending personal hygiene is not a priority so I get it. 7. The Upside down air might be OK but The Abyss air can not be good for these kids. 8. And finally my biggest concern over all 5 seasons - Where are these kids parents???

2025-12-31 17:50:59 +0000 UTCThis is apparently the worst rated ST ep of the whole show lol (title previously held by S2 E7 The Lost Sister). A lot of people were not happy with the coming out scene. People wanted a more intimate scene with Mike especially or at the very least with just the Core team which I kind of get. But other than that this episode was mostly set up and lore drop before the grand finale (a whopping 2hr). Personally not my fave ep of the series but a very necessary one. So to summarize the lore. Dimension X/ The Abyss has always existed with the Mind Flayer and Demos. Henry was banished there by El and he has been exploring this dimension since then. Probably created Camazotz his mind place filled with his memories during this time. Kinda cool if you think about it like how people retreat into their minds when they are attacked externally. And The Upside Down was created by El when she psychically first made contact with a creature from the Abyss (a Demo) same day Will went missing and that's why The Upside Down is frozen in time.
