I also love love love Kita’s speech about innate talent vs hard work especially in an episode that features an Oikawa cameo who previously talked about this topic. I love Kita challenging the “vs” and saying just because someone is born with talent or athleticism doesn’t mean they’re not also putting in the work. Also I love Kageyama and Hinata’s exchange at the end of the episode. Kageyama feels himself getting tired and unable to get that last ball up and we see a flashback to the season 2 training camp when the duo was still learning the drop quick and Kageyama held back which prompted Hinata to scold him. After that last play, Kageyama expected that same anger from Hinata but instead he just smiles and says “give me the next one too” because he knows that even with that failed set that Kageyama was trying his best to get him the ball and that’s all he can ask for. Atsumu’s “I’m moved shoyo-kun” also makes me teary-eyed because we’ve seen what kind of setter Atsumu is in that he works his ass off to get his spikers the best set possible and expects them to hit each one gratefully, and in that moment he sees that Hinata is the kind of spiker that acknowledges his setter’s efforts and does his best with what he’s given without complaints. Atsumu’s inner thoughts in this moment are actually expanded on in the manga if you ever get the chance to read it! Such a good reaction can’t wait for next episode’s 😁😁😁
