December Schedule

Howdy folks and happy holidays! From the holiday music, festive atmosphere, and warm fuzzies contrasting the cold weather—It’s officially December, personally my favorite month!

Now is a good chance to slow down, reflect, and prepare for the new year ahead. With that mind—woof. Your boi PD has been starting to burn out a bit. So I’m going to take it a little easy in December/January.

What’s New In PD’s Life

I’ve been filming a little intensively the past several months and a lot of that has been due to the pressure and anxiety from my hospitalization earlier this year. In case you didn’t know, I contracted a rare disease called Lemierre’s disease. It nearly killed me but the amazing doctors and nursing staff carried me through and saved my life.

My hospital bill finally hit in October and oof—it’s a huge chunk of money. It supercharged my anxiety and I kept working and working. Some people told me to set up a GoFundMe, ask for donations, but I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. Fortunately, hearing about my situation, an investing team I’ve worked with previously swooped in a few weeks ago and offered to help me out. So in the immediate, I’m okay and saved. When I got the text I actually wound up crying not realizing how much anxiety I’d been bottling up.

KULTURE STUDY & BONUS DROPS + Concerts

So I’m a little burned out. December is a slow month in terms of comebacks so don’t worry, I’ll be catching up on YouTube comebacks from November (and some others from earlier this year) all throughout December and January but I’m not setting specific days. Bonus drops and YouTube reactions will still come out but they’ll sort of be random and I’ll be releasing them at my own pace. I plan to take a vacation next year—but not yet. Not now. So I ask for your understanding as I take these two months to sort of flow and work at my own pace.

I needed to mix things up so December we’ve got the NMIXX MIXX LAB concert but I’ll primarily be focusing on the award shows. In January, you can expect concert reactions for BABYMONSTER, TWICE ‘READY TO BE’ IN JAPAN @ NISSAN as well.

Drama Club

We also have quite a few finales in the upcoming time frame. ‘When Life Gives You Tangerines’ and ‘Business Proposal’ is ending this month! WLGYT will not be immediately replaced so I can have some breathing room because the three drama line up has been taking up a lot of time. But don’t worry, I’ll bring back a third drama when I’m rested and ready in the Spring. Business Proposal will be replaced by LOVELY RUNNER in January.

Alice In Borderland Season 3 is wrapping up in January and I was thinking of replacing it with something equally dark… I was thinking “The Manipulated” starring Kwangsoo, Lee Chang Wook and D.O—what do you guys think?

EXO

Speaking of D.O, initially I mentioned doing an EXO special in December. But as the CBX situation unfolded, I’m genuinely not interested. I’m sorry. I’ve been waiting YEARS for Lay to return, but losing CBX my Top 3?! It sort of killed all of my enthusiasm and spirit for it. I won’t be checking it out right away, and it may be a January or February thing—if I’m up to it.

There’s a few other important updates and events I’m introducing in December but to put it on this post will make this way too long and I know most will skip it so there will be separate announcement posts spaced throughout this week during dark week. So stay tuned ;)
