yea that was an interesting take but honestly i really don’t care if kpop groups that sing in english don’t sound like westerners? Like i don’t expect that and i honestly don’t even notice i love ATM

English singles are great but for title tracks for albums recently they have been becoming “too pop” with the amount of English there is. English versions of title tracks i even don’t listen too much, i rarely ever come across ones that sound “right” to me, which you often say during listening parties because the phonetics don’t sit right. XG and Katseye songs are all in english (even a little Spanish in Gabriela from Daniela) and for me i love them. They give off the ‘kpop” vibe, because they are produced and promoted in a K-pop way even tho they are technically global groups.

It's so well made and has everything in it from fun to emotional. Also they're coming to US early next year for their tour, tickets are already selling out soooo, do yourself a favor? 😆

So interesting what you said during Mina’s song… made me think of the times I’ve listened artist that sing in my first language (Spanish) that don’t really speak that language or don’t understand the way Latin artist sing and even though everything sounds technically good and correct there’s something in the way they maybe hold a note or idk something that just you can tell is not as natural for them… Not saying is bad is just that you can tell
