2025-10-18 01:19:01 +0000 UTCPD this album is just everything to me. as a chaeyoung ult and someone who fucking LOVES that indie/artsy sound and someone who loves k-indie in particular (my goat sumin gets a feature on this album (in your favorite song ribbons), who i mentioned you should listen to during one of your livestreams because she feels so unbelievably down your alley; specifically her miniseries collabs with producer slom but her stuff outside of those 2 projects is incredible as well) it was just a mix of everything that i love. i will be repeating this album until i die, play it at my funeral, and bury me with the vinyl of the album. if i could inject music into my veins, i want this album to be what's injected. i could go on about how amazing and incredible this album is sonically, conceptually, artistically, and the fact she was lead lyricist, composer, and arranger for almost every song is just the cherry on top. i had such high hopes for this album and chaeyoung still managed to blow me away. if it was possible id want a new chaeyoung album every year bc she makes things so out of the norm for k-pop and everytime she absolutely kills it. chaeyoung i fucking love you and your artistry please never stop being yourself in your music. (p.s. i think you will absolutely love chaeyoung's solo off the twice 10 year anniversary album too it also feels so you even after you mentioned you loved just the snippet that was released for it)

2025-10-18 01:15:12 +0000 UTCi’m convinced ribbons, downpour, and bf is the best 3 track run i’ll hear all year. you can tell she pulled a lot of inspo from artists like clairo and the marias who i looove!!! there’s so much thought and passion imbued into this whole project from sound and lyrics to visual direction. it’s definitely a very special project in kpop - i wonder if it’ll create impact on other idol’s solo projects as a result. i had no idea this was available on vinyl so thank you for mentioning that since i will also be purchasing haha :)

I pre-ordered the LP version of this, so I made myself wait until that arrived to listen to the album. My first experience with each song was on vinyl, and that was a great choice. Incredible album, everything I wanted from Chae but never dreamed of hoping we would actually get.

2025-10-15 19:15:42 +0000 UTCChaeyoung isn’t the first active female idol of the big 3, at her level of success, to get tattoo , but I think she still is the most prominent bc of TWICE image at the time, and her pieces are the BIGGEST and most visible, she might have most in sheer numbers, even people like taeyeon got tattoos but a lot of small on the hand or hidden ones, Hyuna was bashed for getting hers but she also had the backing of “baddie” image, Hyolyn I’d say is second to Chaeyoung in the huge piece/most visible on her stomach which sistar and her now as solo had to get around with outfits constantly wear the tape on live shows, but besides that one hyolyn doesn’t have as many as Chae so I think she still holds the record; I LOVED WHEN CHAE CHOPPED HER HAIR it was so sick that she was making headlines and even at the time everyone knew the company scolded her and she did it on her own—I think we could just clearly tell she really needed that at the time was overlapping with the busiest times of their careers when she was still barely an adult and a lot of the group was experiencing burnout, she got a lot of new fans through this simple yet brave act of expression, I could see it being totally liberating to make a choice of independence and have control over with such a demanding career
