One thing I love about the Miya twins doing the weirdo quick is that of course only THEY would be able to pull it off. They're twins and have been playing with each other all their lives. You need that kind of connection if you're a normal human being. But Kagehina? They're just maniacs. Remember when Coach Ukai said it's cruel that they didn't play together before Karasuno? Imagine them if they had been childhood friends. However, it still shows just how crazy it is that they trust each other so unconditionally.

2025-11-09 14:51:57 +0000 UTCI actually think Atsumu and Oikawa are super similar in the way they act but I def agree watching him play made me like him so much more. The opposite of Oikawa. Feel like for the most part the animation gets better from here. These two were the weakest of the bunch. Inarizaki def gives villain energy with the way they play. I actually love that about them.

I wanted to mention when Atsumu mimics the Kageyama/Hinata “freak quick” he uses the same wording that Kageyama used when the quick was first used during the 3v3 match with Tsukki and Yamaguchi as well as in season 1 episode 24 against Seijoh where it was blocked (this position.. this timing.. it’s perfect). You can also see that Kageyama is the first one to notice what Atsumu is doing since he knows that quick all too well 🤩

2025-09-27 19:50:27 +0000 UTCI always forget just how bad the animation got during these pandemic episodes, but then again, the fact that they were able to get through the season while the world was literally falling apart is commendable. I do remember the animation picking back up in later episodes this season, so I wouldn't be too worried about disappointing animation towards the end. It's more so these mid season episodes where the art is noticeably not to the standard we're used to

2025-09-27 18:50:29 +0000 UTCI feel bad for the animation studio, they were very much on crunch with this season, they didn’t get the time they needed to actually get the best animation out for the game battles (and definitely not paid properly for the over hours☠️ ) which is why I respect the hell out of them actually getting the time for the movies after this season, idc how long I have to wait bc I’d rather it actually be good than just put out and give into capitalistic demand
