I remember when this episodes (8-12) dropped, it was like, "calm before the storm" because the 13-16 are tearjerker episodes.

2025-11-15 05:53:23 +0000 UTCThis show is about family, generational struggle and love so I think it makes totally sense to follow the kids storylines aswell, otherwise it would feel incomplete. Remember how emotionally touching last episode was, when it dealt with the struggles and the burden of children towards their parents and vice versa? You could never really acomplish that without following Geummyeongs storyline. This show does a lot of build up that pays off later so I wouldnt recommend to be too biased against a certain storyline from the beginning.

2025-10-17 19:09:51 +0000 UTCI love the narration when the guy was hiding in Geummyeong's wardrobe she said "Grandma Minok said, morally speaking there is no place to hide in a house but the wardrobe." I love it for two reasons, the first one being confirmation that Aesun & her kids get in touch with her stepmother and they seem actually still pretty close. And the second one is the irony of her also hiding from Aesun in the wardrobe along with the stepdad back in the day. I never caught that reference until recently.

2025-09-27 21:00:01 +0000 UTCits interesting you think that way bc for me its kinda obvious she ended up not buying the place with the auties because of Geummyeong's studies abroad since we saw in the last episode that she sold the house to pay for it, so they make seem like she also didnt buy the place to save money for the new apt and the studies abroad, i also agree the new guy seemed a little bit like a weirdo at first lmao but he grew more and more to me as the time goes by
