I’m glad you’re equally in love with Paint Candy. I hope you can react to their live stages & performance video for that track because the choreo is just THAT GOOD. 2025-09-26 18:54:22 +0000 UTCyou chose a good day to upload this, i know you aren’t very familiar with the members, but it’s actually yeojun’s birthday today lol. sadly the close your ears allegations are true. their team was very aware of it and they felt a bit pressured to prove everyone wrong at their debut. i honestly think their vocal chemistry is built on the fact that most of their choruses are group vocals instead of split between 1-2 members. their voice as a group is very strong and it’s the backbone of their sound. they’re led by their main vocal kyoungbae (their maknae) who has such a darling vocal color. i don’t think this approach for a group is common, but it really works for them.

2025-09-26 14:24:11 +0000 UTCwhat’s so interesting about CYE is that when they won Project 7, a lot of people were most worried about the vocals since everyone’s main positions were either rap or dance. but i think like you said, even if some of the members aren’t the craziest vocalists their vocal chemistry is incredible! their music is so special and this is definitely one of my favorite albums of the year so far (my favorite is Bubble Tea)
