2025-09-24 18:17:00 +0000 UTCOh my goodness you really pinpointed the reasons for me having a favourite B side for every group I listen to, and they ALL seem to sound similar (at least personally!) Like some examples of my fave B sides for some artists are Jennie - Seoul City Le Sserafim - Ash Fromis - Attitude Minnie - Cherry Sky Enhypen - Moonstruck IVE - Midnight Kiss and my all time fave Kpop B side of all time ARTMS - Butterfly Effect (which sounds quite different to the others, but to me has the same vibe) They are mostly kind of bittersweet songs and they have very ethereal sounds. On my first listen of the EP I wasn’t sold at all on Wild Bird, Dear my Feelings and GOTCHA unfortunately. So towards the end I wasn’t expecting much to add to my playlist anymore! Even up to the end of the first chorus of Midnight Kiss I wasn’t sold on it as a song. But after finishing it… I was floored. That song EVOLVES. I love when songs just keep amplifying little sounds that you might not notice at first, but they add huge impact in the second and final chorus. I’m not sure the technical term for the sound I like in Midnight Kiss is the “keys”, but the chiming/bell type sound that builds as the song progresses is just CHEFS KISS. I could go on for hours tbh I am surprised Beats wasn’t more popular!! It’s my second favourite on this EP, it sounds so incredibly IVE coded and so fun to listen to. I waited so long for you to release this reaction specifically for Midnight Kiss though, I knew you would love it !!

2025-09-24 16:11:49 +0000 UTCi’ve been WAITING for this reaction. you and i have very a similar taste in music, so when i heard this ep i knew you would appreciate it just as much as i do. midnight kiss is still on repeat for me, and it will easily end up as one of my most played songs of the year :)

2025-09-24 14:24:35 +0000 UTCI agree that the sentiment of this album is very heartfelt and comforting, except for Gotcha (which is exactly why I love they also included it here, it feels so out of place to a hilarious degree 😂). I wasnt vibing as much with <3beats and much more with Wild Bird but that's probably because I'm not as aware of the lyrics as you are. Overall I really like this album as always with Ive but it's not up there with my favourites lile IVE I've or IVE Empathy.
