You should watch katseye’s interview with the associated press. They really went in depth about how they felt about the documentary. It was such a good interview.

2025-11-02 17:12:42 +0000 UTCNow this is EXACTLY why i didn't support them keeping this survival show a secret for so long. At first, its fine to let them focus on training and not tell them, but they NEED time after being told and before starting the survival show to think it over and prepare themselves mentally. 1) They probably don't wat to leave because they have spent soo long in T&D and wouldn't want their hard work to go to waste. But it may feel like that when they get eliminated despite having spent so long training. 2) Watching their best friends getting eliminated yet the surviving contestants having to take over their place and not be given any time to process and come to terms with that, in turn affects their performance. I will admit Megan's performance this time around didn't hit like pink venom and it could very much be because her struggle after Adela's departure. They need to be ready for this or else they can crumble easily.

2025-09-28 09:25:56 +0000 UTCI am thinking about your question regarding the way this survival show was treated, I mean the way the girls were treated… At first I agreed that it was alright not to tell them, so they do not end up being stressed and so they can focus on training, but I pretty much agree with you, well I have agreed with you all the time, when I think about it… Giving them more time to digest it all would have been the best scenario + technically asking them if they want to continue… But to be fair… this factor plus the fact how this show was not in one format but in multiple videos and posts, shows that they did not know what they were doing…

2025-09-26 21:23:19 +0000 UTCive said it before but; this is my first time watching this as well, and i have a STRONG feeling i know who is going to leave next episode. i don’t usually have a sixth sense for these things but something is telling me whoever it is will leave because of all this crap they’re putting the girls through. i mean the least HxG could have done is create a less traumatic survival show given they PROBABLY wouldn’t have agreed to a survival show if they knew about it in the first place. also i vaguely remember all the manon hate online when katseye debuted saying she didn’t deserve to be in the group. i totally disagree even after the super brief and less than exciting reason for her missing rehearsals! i don’t think she was taking days off unnecessarily, i guess people were really taking it as her making an excuse. but i think she is going to step up from here on (hopefully) and i really hope to see her reconnecting with some of the girls now. i know that not everyone will get along though and thats also fine! #mitrahateclub

Yet they not only disclosed them to the girls but they did disclosed it to the public. I get it is drama but it was unethical to lie and deceive the girls.

2025-09-23 16:28:17 +0000 UTCabout what you were saying about Karlee i really dont know if they would use the take if she was better because it really feels like they were already set in getting Megan in the group so im really not sure if they would want a take where she is not doing the best idk i understand where you come from where they would want the best take regardless of who it is but the survival feels so manipulated that i just dont trust it

2025-09-23 16:08:25 +0000 UTComg this method of elimination was so shitty and messed up, i totally understand now when i see ppl say that the girls said this show was a traumatizing moment for them specially since none of them ever thought they'd be in a survival show, like obv they knew all of them wouldnt debut but the survival show aspect def just make the eliminations so much worse for them, initially i agreed with you and thought not telling them about the survival was the right desicion but now after this episode it just feels so wrong, last episode it was starting to rub me the wrong way already and now was the last thread because the fact that they created such a strong bond before just make the survival this much more heartbreaking and mentally exausting for them like you can literally see Lexie's eyes losing its sparkle damn... not to mention many of them prob didnt WANT to be in a survival show like Daniela said so it just feels like they were dragged into this against their will and they cant just get out because they feel like it would be a waste since they already invested so much time and training to debut in this group

There are business stakes involved blah blah blah. But the way she phrased it was just so unnecessarily cruel. It's probably made worse that they shoved that comment in amongst all the shots of the girls clearly being devastated for each other and really going through it.

2025-09-23 15:54:21 +0000 UTCAh yes, the episode where we realize just how slimy Mitra (LADY) is. Pretty much everyone reacted the same way you did when she made the comment about needing to add drama. It all just felt so gross. The thing is, them asking the question "who would you want to be in a group with?" is not inherently wrong or unethical but what WAS wrong and unethical was the fact that they publicly showed their answers to all the other girls, when none of them ever expected their answers to come out/be shown, WHILST SITTING RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER NONETHELESS! They answered that question in confidence. It was not ok to air out that info in the way that they did, purely for the sake of "drama". These young women were already grappling with the stress and anxiety of having to see their best friends become their competition, they DID NOT need to further the tension between them. The whole situation was just so disgusting. That one shot of Lexie looking so far gone and empty after eliminations is always so sad see

2025-09-23 15:24:20 +0000 UTCYah, most of the girls (both eliminated and debut) have said dream academy was traumatizing for them. Even once this documentary came out it was difficult for the members because they said it made them relive something that had happened so long ago. The issue with Manon was very controversial in both ways where people were claiming either manon didn’t deserve to debut or that the other contestants (ex Sophia) were bullying her. It’s obvious with how katseye is now that all of the members worked hard and deserve to be where they are.
