Trip from hell..

Ok.. so I decided to leave Spain as the matters in France and Germany (the countries which i needed to cross in order to go to where I have planned spend summer, got worse every day and I was afraid that eventually they could even close borders, making this trip impossible.

So I left my beloved Naked town and headed to a little town just before French border to do my Covid test.. guess what - negative! Music to a travellers ears!

Confident that all the travel requirements are met (including a sworn form) I entered France, drove as fast as i could to get closer to Germany as their requirements were also not less than 48h negative Covid test.. i still had time until the certificate expires so I wasn't worried at all.

When I entered Germany as realised that theoretically i d still have time to enter Poland with the same test paper..

Managed to enter Poland successfully and just as i was starting to plan where i can find a clinic to do another test for the next two countries i had to enter i realised that the requirements for those two countries were - not less than 72h negative Covid test, which meant that my test done in Spain could still be valid if i push harder and do beyond my very best to reach those countries on time..

Oh my oh my.. will i ever do this again? Excitement entering each country successfully mixed with worries, sleepless nights and restless days..

In my last post i said - i almost had a heart attack. Yes it was when there were only 2h left until the test expires but i still had to drive for hundreds of km to reach the last country, when my left arm started to get numb and sweaty, my head felt so heavy and tired.. plus it's gone dark, plus the heavens open for a massive thunderstorm.. i stopped in a petrol station saying to myself - it could be a sign from above that i need to stop driving and whatever happens happens.. whilst taking a good break i remembered one important thing, which i have preached to myself and others for years now - everything is in our heads! We have the ability to work ourselves up to the death but we can also do the opposite- acknowledge that all is well, that human beings are powerful machines and can achieve great miracles if they really focus on the task ahead.

So i did just that, got back in the van and decided to do one step at the time (in this case - one mile at the time).. and guess what..

Now I am catching up on the sleep and rest, plus i am on the 14 day quarantine, but what a place to self isolate! No people, no masks, no laws and regulations.. but also - not a good wifi signal lol which means that i will be only able to upload a video from here when i get out (to town close by) after my quarantine. Meanwhile I will share with you a video later this week which i managed to film while back in Spain.

Thank you again for your incredible support and love! Without you this trip wouldn't be possible! And I am so excited for what's coming next, got plans for this place and for summer, but you will get to know all that in my upcoming videos soon.
