With this album you can tell haechan is a true R&B enjoyer. He knows who layed the foundations for music and i can also tell he grew up like me, listening to MJ, usher, TPain etc. as a black person it made me so happy and nostalgic

It seemed like Haechan was so bothered about those comments, he can't stop talking about it 😭

I too grew up on “black” music so this album made me so so happy. My inner child was jumping with joy too.

THIS ALBUM IS SSOOO MJ AND CHRISBROWN CODED WITH SOME JAZZZ JUST ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!. Roll with me has been on repeat honestly the whole album. Roll with me feels like a nice warm hug or walking hand in hand with your lover on a beach at sunset. Also Adrenaline 100% sounds like SM wrote a song for Chris brown and Haexhan was like actually I like this lol!!! It felt like a chros brown song but with an SM bridge LOL!!! Not even just kpop or NCT, but MUSIC. Music has always been part of my life. I was in band from 5th to 12th grade and I played clarinet and tenor sax. My father blasted music in our living room everything from Beatles to Pink Floyd to Joe Bonamassa to obscure jazz and blues bands i wouldn't even remember. I doubt I'd appreciate music like this album if it weren't for that. However....I never felt like completely connected to any genre or style of music. Like I just liked everything mostly. Then I found kpop. Never in my life has music affected me like kpop artists do. The music itself, their voices...THEIR VOICES! The first group I heard and still love was DBSK. I was like how do their voices even exist?! I couldn't believe this type of music and these voices were real. Its like it was all made for me. Jaejoong is still my ult and probably always will be. Im only saying this because Haechan has joined those ranks for me. He has one of those voices that make me question reality. I love so many insanely talented vocalists its so hard to rank them or even put them against each other, I just can't. Haechan is one of them. This is def my AOTY! I think my fav nct solo album is still Doyoungs first album, but this is def second! NCT has just gone beyond kpop for me musically. I said this for their Golden Age album too. Something about NCT is just so musically divergent from everyone else. I get that it can be a hard taste for some. But for me its incredible! This album will be timeless. He knew what he was doing and it shows how well he knows himself as an artist and his audience. I cant wait for more from him and all NCT members!

I really liked the Mark reaction for Mark's 1st album that you did, PD, because I'm not Korean, so explaining those details was very informative and helped me understand and enjoy Mark's album more. 2 hours!? That's a lot, but it is Haechan. I can see why "Insomnia" was not added to the album now. I honestly don't think it would have fit the aesthetic sound-wise of this album. Just my opinion after hearing the full album and knowing "Insomnia" was not chosen for the same album, and after hearing "Insomnia" after Haechan played it in full on his livestream a few months ago. Maybe the closest to "Insomnia" would have been "Adrenaline"??? I could also be tripping from just hearing the album, so like my mind is still catching up. It was a lot, too. Despite being 32 minutes. It was long but also short at the same time. That's very weird for my head. Anyway, thank you for this long video, PD.

This was definitely what I wanted from him. Totally my shit, I’m vibing SO HARD!! Now I’m gonna go streaming this album all day😭

There were a lot of people waiting for Haechan's solo, but I'm so happy that a better-than-expected album came out 😊
