I loved this comeback!!! I really hope them as a group make it work somehow, either under wakeone or not...Also PD idk if you have already but if you haven't definitely check out Hao and Hanbin's interview on Salon Drip2. It was so so funny!

I literally CAN NOT! see ZB1 elsewhere apart from ZB1.. the thought that HAO and HANBIN could potentially NOT be 24/7 in front of my screen for the next 20 years... i cannot FATHOM this timeline.

Everglow was such a huge fumble 😭 Yiren revealed that they did not get paid at all in the whole of six years, which is pretty surprising, because they were on a huge run in their first two years. Just by looking at their spotify streams, you’d think they got paid, but apparently nope!

2025-09-05 15:31:41 +0000 UTCWell, here’s my coping 🤣: (Sorry PD, it’s so long) Regardless if they renew or not, I really don’t know what to feel yet, because I obviously want them to stay together but 1) Wakeone is an ass company. 2) Their original companies are no better. It’s highly likely Yuehua wants their members back of course. Though I also know that they are probably still in the long talks & discussions because IMO, temporary groups and times have changed. It’s why Kep1er was able to have 7/9 members extend. IMO, besides IVE (and WOODZ) there’s not a follow up act from the produce groups who have been able to maintain or surpass the relevancy/success they had in their temporary groups. Sure they are still around (Somi, Chungha, AB6IX, Cravity, Eunbi, Yena, etc.) but still, far from their status when they were in their mnet group. IVE is an anomaly not only because of their awesome musical direction (you can say the same for others) and having wonyoung & yujin, but also because of time and luck in my opinion. They really appeared during the time of girl groups supremacy in Korea. Le Sserafim is a special case because SouMu was never the girls’ original company during Produce/Izone. I am obviously happy that many of them found their niche after their temporary groups (acting, new groups, etc.) but IMAGINE if Wanna One actually became a permanent group. Just how big they would be?! I know the whole premise of mnet survival shows is to temporarily promote these members before their og companies redebut them but honestly, it has become such a huge gamble. Most companies of the Kep1er members probably realized this (they are the 5th group from the mnet franchise anyways) and decided that keeping them in Kep1er is the better move financially. They can get their pay shares that way, instead of investing and redebuting them, which costs a lot and might not even pay back well. Like I feel so sad and worried for Mashiro & Yeseo now. If I were these companies, I’d keep both ZB1 and EVNNE as they are. If I was YueHua, maybe I could offer to co-manage with Wakeone, idk. They have beef but who knows. And both are known to be horrible but HEY.. Kep1er is Wakeone-Klap now, and there’s still arguments on how their management is still bad. IDK really. That’s another issue. All in all, I just hope the members get the best end results. Hanbin did say that they are discussing while also considering what the GP and fans want. Kep1er’s Yujin mentioned before that she really fought for better terms during the discussions for extension, so I want to assume that at least for YueHua members, Hao is involved considering he has tons of solo projects. He can very much argue for better terms according to what he wants. ZB1’s bond is so so strong and I’m saying this a someone who has quite literally followed every produce/planet group. I really want to see them more, they are such a STRONG group.

2025-09-05 15:28:23 +0000 UTCdisbandment is likely to be sometime around gunwook's birthday in January :( they're doing the whole media play thing with the same "omg will they or wont they extend???!!1" deal as always but im doubtful just because they have so many yuehua members and all signs point to that company REALLLLLY wanting their guys back. i hope they can extend just a little :(((
