Your enthusiasm is contagious and it feels like I'm showing a friend something I loved and beaming at their own enjoyment. Does that make sense? I can heavily relate to how you describe the way music scratches your brain as I'm autistic myself (diagnosed just this year!). You also bring so much valuable knowledge to the table and have taught me a lot, not only about music but also with your translations and interpretations of Korean lyrics. To sum it up, thank you so so much for the work you do and share with us. Here's hoping you continue to do it for as long as it makes you happy and that your health gets better and better <3 PS: Doesn't a Kylie Minogue + Key collab sound like a dream? Been a fan of hers for what feels like forever and finally saw her live for the first time a month ago. At one point during it I was like "heck, this is the energy a Key concert must have!"

Jack Brady & Jordan Roman participated in the production of Breathe Carolina's album, but they're not 'Breathe Carolina, they are "THE WAVYS". Breathe Carolina's current members are: David Schmitt & Tommy Cooperman.

(he's the one in vocal 's line with Jjong and Jinki, dance's line with Taemin and of course, rap's line with Minho, since debut!) he really can be main in any of these position if he's in any other groups, it's just that SHINee members are all MONSTERS.(I know that SHINee members don't call themself as any of these position anymore, now they're all vocals. but in their debut era, their position were like this: Jjong as main vocal, Jinki as lead vocal, Taemin as main dancer, Minho as main rapper and we have Key as sub vocal; lead dancer; lead rapper LOL)

I used to rewatch is religiousy because your reaction was priceless, I remember searching for it one day for comfort and it just wasn't there, heartbroken but always in my mind!! This album is SOOOO good, my second favourite album from him after the Bad Love EP tbh, and my favourite is Glam as well. 2025-09-04 02:47:34 +0000 UTCWell, once again Patreon ate my post, which is fitting given my hour-long fight with windows this evening. I have reached the conclusion that Key can do anything. Want Another is my absolute favorite song on the album, but in all honesty I love love loooooooooove the *almost* synthwave of Hunter and Pleasure Shop. If I could have a dream collaboration, it would be SHINee or SHINee soloists and The Midnight. Korean Englishman had Minho on years after I asked the Universe to make that happen, so maybe my Midnight dreams will also come true! In all seriousness, I love this album. I love how Key continues to come into himself, iykwim. Face was him and SM, and each ensuing album is just more him. I'd love to hear another Japanese album, see where he goes and what he does. Hmm.

2025-09-03 22:07:09 +0000 UTCone thing i appreciate about key is that he puts out ALBUMS. theyre cohesive, coherent, and intentional. most kpop albums feel more like compilations of music, which is genuinely fine as long as it sounds good, but he really cares about the art of album creation.

He has been collecting tool for his toolbox for awhile. I think David Bowie and Lady Gaga speak to him as he is a similar type of artist—performers, concept and message, execution. I think his definition of “singer “ is very comprehensive. My favs are Strange (it has a hold on me), Perfect Error, and Hunter.

There really isn't much overwhelming overlap of what is considered the "best song", and it truly shows the quality he puts into the variety he can show. Personally mine genuinely swap around still on a day to day basis but the ones I've ended up looping the most are Trap, No Way! and GLAM

2025-09-03 20:21:44 +0000 UTCI am rewatching your I Wanna Be listening party at least twice a month on YouTube (Imagine is still the best song on the album for me) and I was laughing so hard when you were listening to Infatuation and reacted with almost the same words about a repeating rap feature as back then when you listened to I Will Fight. My Top-2 are actually the same and when I heard Glam and Lavender Love, I just knew you'll love them. Also, Kibum is going to tour in US in December, so I hope you'll get an opportunity to go to his concert - the man is legendary and I wish he was even more popular than he already is, because the world needs him, just as it needs all SHINee members and their music - both as a group and as soloists.

He really takes a holistic approach to his solo work and all aspects feel as though they received the same level of thought and consideration. From the general concept, to the music, to the album packaging and MV, all are important and treated as important. There are so many times in kpop where you can tell all the effort went into 1 or 2 aspects of a release and that leaves you wanting more as a fan. I also really appreciated that they released a separate behind the scenes video of just the Hunter production meetings this time. This really gave a great insight into what Key was thinking and how he and his team makes the idea come to life. As for my favorites songs on the album my current top 3 are Picture Frame, Glam and Lavender Love.

GLAM is such a queer bop 🎉 as an european shawol I was 🤯 but Lavender love omg, it’s so emotional, it’s my second favorite too! Music critic Kim Youngdae in an article has called Shinee the "haute couture" of K-pop, and I keep thinking about it and it's so true to me. Their artistic vision, influence, it’s not just about being viral or sell, it’s the realm of art! They have raised the bar so high to me through their discography (both group and solo) that is up in the sky. IN THE SKY.

You couldn’t put Hunter and Trap next to Lavender Love and Perfect Error…But the flow works..Key is the renowned all rounder but he doesn’t compromise on any part. Hunter has to be my favourite.. it’s my song.. it’s my GOAT literally. I looove strange..my second English language song of his to be in the top along with Novacaine which is one of my top forever songs…Trap I love but it makes me feel a bit randomly anxious on the repeating again…Glam is such a Key song.. the song I want to be a collab between Key and Lady Gaga it’s so iconic 😆.. Perfect Error kinda reminds me of the older K-drama OSTs but in a good way and is such a groove. Lavender Love is so beautiful…like the dessert after the main course and leaves you with a light sweet feeling. Picture Frame I love lyrically so much and Infatuation which somehow isn’t dark but could be….I definitely could see SHINee..maybe 2014 era singing this…Want Another,Trap and No Way are probably 8,9,10 on my list atm but not particularly in any order…But like any music/album it shifts the more you hear it and depending on your mood. It’s so hard to rate though because it’s all so good. Hunter I’m obsessed with though, I love it more than any other song EVER…MV too. And that highlights another Key skill .. he’s a phenomenal dancer and as a professional dancer I love his clean, sharp and precise style, although he’s brought a lot more flow and softer moves lately…that he eats..naturally 😆..I love the way h most of his choreos include odd and almost jarring moves that adds to his style..,If Key wasn’t in SHINee with TaeMin I think he’d have had a lot more focus on his dancing ability…That’s SHINee for you though…Five stars in vocals, dance and style…oh and obviously visuals as well.. they make the extraordinary seem ordinary. I’m loving your SHINee deep dive experience. Oh and I Wanna Be is one of my favourite albums ever too.

So glad you enjoyed this album too. I last commented on a Key reaction of yours talking about how much I loved him as a queer fan and I thought Infatuation (with the male feature) and Lavender Love and Glam really rammed that home for me all over again. And even all that aside he's SUCH a good ARTIST! Just bonkers good. 'Picture Frame' is my fave, it's so romantic and emotional! I hope you get to see him live in the US!

I love so many of these songs but my top fav is Want Another. I love how Key plays with the melody and his voice in that one, the unusual structure is what I always enjoy about Key albums especially in full albums cause he does it way more. Lavender Love is a really beautiful one too tho! He said he envisioned performing it at the concerts. I bet he’ll end with it on his upcoming Asia and u.s tour wooo! If you like Infatuation, I think you’ll really love the 1 of 1 album of shinee. (my fav shinee album personally it’s soooo good 👀). It’s whole theme is that 90s vibe, right down the the music video for 1 of 1 which I also adore. I did also wanna say for the I Wanna Be listening party. I’m pretty sure you still have it uploaded to youtube so it’s rewatchable that way! I rewatch it from time to time too lol.
